If you played it a few times you would get more options with beauty and she didn't have the key to that room. She also said something along the lines of "the person who had the key to the room had it for a long period of time" and "she hasn't been working here for very long" now the quotes aren't exactly what she said but they make the point clear of the jist of what she was saying as I honestly can't remember the exact words she said but yeah that is what happened on that part.
Edit: If you remember when bigby came in he could of easily just walked up the stairs without beauty knowing about it but you ring the bell. Crane had the key already so he could easily have went there without her knowing and had lily come by herself and meet him there or something along those lines.
No, I'm saying, Beauty didn't recognize Crane, and if he was glamoured (so that she wouldn't recognize him), how is it that he shows up in the… more photo? If he was un-glamoured the whole time, how did Beauty NOT see him? (she claims to have not recognized anyone with Lily, which would include Crane).
Ya, he is really awkward in that scene. I'm surprised I didn't pick up on the things he was saying the first time I played it. Like having a sudden hatred for trolls and not wanting Bigby to open the Glamour case.
That photo doesn't look like a selfie, and it's unlikely that the person who took that photo was in the room with Crane and Lily, so could he have used the magic mirror to find the whereabouts of Crane, and then took that photo when Crane was with Lily. This would also mean that the killer has access to the mirror.
Yeah, I suppose, Crane could've gone by unnoticed that one time. In general though, it would seem that Crane would go to decent lengths to hide his identity IN CASE anyone saw him (a glamour would make that quite easy).
Yeah, I caught more on the second playthrough, too! When Bigby and Snow are musing about "who was her client?" Crane very awkwardly blurts out "Well, a troll, obviously!" Deflecting, much? "NOPE, NOT ME!"

I guess if I read the comics it'd give me a better intuitive sense of things, didn't know that Crane had a Snow fetish. Well, even if we go off of the obvious interpretation that it was Crane in that photo (as opposed to a glamoured up someone else), I very much doubt he is the killer.

I personally don't think Crane killed anyone, but has an odd obsession with Snow White, which is why he treats her the way he does. There was a picture of him WITH the woman who was murdered. Someone's watching Bigby, Crane, and Snow, in my opinion.
Snow mentioned a sister out of nowhere, I have a feeling she has something to do with this. I doubt Crane is a cross dresser so perhaps Snow's sister wanted her dead and framed crane (Who takes a picture and leaves it behind??).
I want to know why they changed Georgie's voice actor and why Episode 3's picture has changed from that police woman tailing Bigby to Bigby chasing Crane's car.
Play episode 1 again or at least view the preview for episode 2 with Lawrence alive. He's not featured anymore, so story must have changed, hence the delay, preview differences and the episode 3 picture changing.
Yeah to me because of that the ending in the game wasn't a shock. Also doesn't it create a time paradox? or did Crane use a memory wipe spell on Bigby so he can't remember about it in the future?
My real question is why he bailed me out of jail... I mean, no one would accuse him of anything if he didn't, he could have just left me there, it would make things more easier for him, so why?
Also what in the freaking freak meant "Stop laughing", when you were "interrogating" TJ he said that he heard someone say stop laughing but didn't hear anyone laugh, your thoughts on that? Is there a fairy tale about a man who couldn't stop laughing or something like that, I'm really bad with fairy tales.
Also I think it was awesome that they put The Little Mermaid in the game
What do you mean? Bigby remembers it. He dislikes Crane a lot. In the comics it's stated that Crane was ousted from the Deputy Mayor position after sexual harassment claims were made against him by Snow.

he is not bigby he is crane .......... just look into my thread created last december (http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/52356/new-killer-must-read-it) i predicted that it's not bib bad wolf it's crane
Bigby is essentially Fabletown's entire law enforcement branch. With a killer on the loose and Mundies encroaching on the Woodlands, it wouldn't make sense for the man in charge to leave Bigby and the other evidence with the police.
My real question is why he bailed me out of jail... I mean, no one would accuse him of anything if he didn't, he could have just left me there… more, it would make things more easier for him, so why?

I really don't think is just Crane who's behind it. I can't believe that they're making it that easy. I mean, I thought of Crane from the beginning, and I'd be extremely disappointed if it turns out that the bad guy was the one I'd thought of all along. Also, as mentioned by a lot of the other members, it's only the second episode and there're three left. Maybe he had a finger or a hand in on it, but I sincerely doubt he's noting more but a big creep.
He seemed rather out of it when they thought she was dead too, which he probably wouldn't have if he knew it was in reality a glamoured troll. Can someone tell me though, was it Bluebeard they talked about in episode 1? The one Bigby thought was the bad guy.
Only click if you know information from the comics, or want to know.
In the comics when Crane shows up he is in Paris with Cinderella, who is trying to prove his disloyalty to Fabletown, and she has him write out the secrets of Fabletown. Anyways during that time he talks about how he was fired because of "false sexual harassment" charges from Snow White. He then claims something along the light that it was just made up story that Snow made up because of her own ambition and just want him out of the way. Later on it's also shown that in his "report" that he had written out mock rape fantasies of Snow.
So it would seem that this case has something to do with those events. And since in the comics Crane lives threw the 80s I highly doubt he is the killer. Still it's obvious that the situation and the case are tied together.
My comment doesn´t contain spoilers past episode 2 (obviously - I haven´t read the comics either) but I am theorising what might have happened...
This is how I see it:
We knew crane was taking massages once in a while. Which obviously meant having sex with someone. Know we know he was going to the motel to have sex (or maybe just touching - I dont know what he is into) with the troll glamoured up as snow.
The evidence is way too much to think that everything might have been fake and crane is just someone glamoured aswell. So I am 100% sure it´s crane.
My guess is crane likes to have sex / touch the fake snow while she is asleep (we saw him having drugs and he tries to reproduce the scene from the book). So after he is done with his business (cums) he leaves the motel while fake snow is still sleeping.
That´s when the killer comes in and kills the troll.
So I see two possibilities now: the killer´s target either was the real snow, or he is just targeting random hookers (what I think is more likely).
Right now it seems like somebody is trying to play with bigby´s head, but what if everything doesn´t have anything to do with him? The heads were placed in front of his apartment complex. So it´s not necessarily a message for him.
We know of another person who lives in there. The weird blonde guy we saw 3 times in the first episode (as snow is introduced, in front of crane´s office and the last time during the chase scene). So maybe the killer is actually playing with this guy.
There are two more things I´d like to mention.
First thing is the police man leaving the motel. I am not really sure what that scene was about... is it just there to show us how fucked up the situation in the city is? I kinda think there is a lot more to that scne though.
The second suspicious person is the hooker that accompanies you into the brothel. She definately is a suspect too. Or what I think is more likely - the next victim.
Being introduced to the glamour changes everything now. Some of the people we interact with might not be the person they seem the whole time, or just for a single scene. It makes everything pretty complicated from now on xD
Seriously, it can only be Crane. You find a picture of him and Lily with Snow's glamour at the hotel room, he breaks the Magic Mirror when he sees it and in the trailer we see him driving off town.
Not getting into the comics again I still don't think it's him. He's just following his characterizations, Crane in the story and outside of it has I thing for upper class good looking women. I also think that the Tweedles are being hired by him, to help protect his trail. But I don't think he is the one murdering the girls, he is when it is all said and done a coward after all. The whole point of his story is how he thought he was better then most people, yet was in the end scared shitless by a farmer who preyed on his superstitions.

I honestly don't think Crane is even involved with the real killer. He's just a perverted old man who likes to play out his sick Snow White fantasies with prostitutes. He's too much of a coward to actually commit murder. The reason he smashes the mirror at the end is because his unsavory proclivities have just been exposed, and they don't look too good for him, not because he's actually guilty.
So the real question then is why was Lily targeted? Did Crane, like Woody, just have the extreme misfortune of choosing a prostitute who was about to die? Or is someone actively trying to set Crane up? Maybe to get him out of the way so that someone else can take power? Someone like Bluebeard perhaps. And if that's the case, how does Faith fit into all of this?

Crane is a creeper big time and yea i'm a lay a whooping on him as soon as Bigby gets the option
Was wondering about that myself. Thought I had loaded a wrong save file, or something.
this episode was over so fast, i wonder how long we gotta wait for the other episodes
Now we all know:"Crane is an asshole"

I guess you haven't gotten to a certain part in the comics yet. You'll find out about his disgusting Snow fetish. Eeeeeeeeewwwwwww
Oh my! Ichabod is a creep???! Who would have guessed xD (seriously I still think he does not get "massages")
Crane can't be killer. He can't talk to talk and he can't walk to walk. He doesn't have balls to kill someone.

Snow's sister is Rose Red, and while they're estranged, neither wants the other dead.
I'm not usually this blunt, but that was, and is, a dumb theory based on wild conjecture and thin air. Sorry.

Crane is being moved out of the way by Bluebeard.
We didn't know that already?
It's not out of nowhere, her sister is an established character in Fables.
Crane sure as hell wouldn't want the mundies discovering them.
Well, not random hookers. Both victims have been fables.
