Bringing *spoiler* in the Trip Trap
I don't consider myself sexist, but the "92% of players brought Snow in the Trip Trap" really baffled me. You know, it's that place where you faced a troll and a three-meter colossus ** the day before** ? Where anyone without your Big Bad Wolf transformation would have been killed ? Where Snow let you enter alone in the first episode because she acknowledged herself it was too dangerous for her ?
Again, it's nothing to do with sexism. If my coworker was a man with no shown fighting ability whatsoever, I would also have said him to stay on the paperwork. And there is no sign that Snow is capable of fighting - again, if I saw her defeat a black belt in judo I would have thought twice, but as most battles involve broken bottles and fingers in the eyes I'm not even sure it would be useful.

Personally, I did it for 2 reasons.
1: To take Snow's side and not Crane's.
2: I figured that the safest place for Snow is alongside Bigby
For me its simple. I let snow do what she wants so I dont have to hear her throw a bitch fit. It doesn't matter if I'm trying to look out for her, shes gonna have a little temper tantrum If she doesn't get her way, so she can do what she wants for now one. One my second play through I just ignore her completely.
She is an adult and can decide for herself what she wants to do. That´s my main reason.
The second is - If you deny her coming with you wouldn´t she most likely just go out alone again?
Well, aside from not wanting to make decisions for people, I figured I'd rather side with her than Crane, plus I'd rather she was safe with Bigby than with Crane,.
Also figured that after the fight from the first episode they'd be a bit more wary about starting anything with Bigby, which proved to be the case.
"I know it's dangerous, but I'm not helpless. I can take care of myself...I've been doing it for centuries."
Snow makes it very clear when she shows up again that she doesn't appreciate being treated like a damsel in distress, and I think she's totally justified. She's her own woman.
Not to mention, Gren and Holly are clearly terrified of you when you walk into the Trip Trap again. Even if they weren't and wanted to hurt Snow, they'd think twice about doing it if she had the Big Bad Wolf backing her up.
Now that I think, it's a very similar decision to the one in Episode 4 of the Walking Dead, where you have to decide whether to take Clementine to Crawford.
Yes, the place you're going is dangerous for her. However, 1.) She's probably going to ignore you and leave either way, and 2.) It's a matter of her being in a safe-ish place with the weakest member of the team (in Clem's case, a wounded Omid, in Snow's case, Crane) or being in a dangerous place with you, who, again, is the god damn Big Bad Wolf.
Of course, Clementine is a nine year old girl, while Snow White is hundreds of years old. I think she can make her own decisions.
I like the clem comparison.
But it´s also very different. It felt easy for me to take Snow with me for the reasons everybody has been saying already.
But since clem is still so young it wasn´t an easy decision at all when I played the walking dead.
My,my,this would be a long-ass comment...I'll try and shorten it for ya.Firstly,Crane's behavior seemed fishy to me from the start, without knowing the ending.I just want Snow to be safe, and the last time i left her alone, she was,you know,"dead".Snow's safer with Bigby,he loves her(CAPTAIN OBVIOUS).Plus,i kinda feel for her.I mean, she actually CAN handle herself, she practiced fencing in the homelands, and she can decide on her own and take risks.Bigby's not the boss of her,nor is Crane.And...I dunno,it just seemed right for her to be there.Anyway,i really despised Crane and his attempts at being friendly with Bigby, and saying he "cared"for Snow when he treated her like shit and all.I'm not sexist,i just did so because Snow's my favorite female character and felt like she should be alongside my favorite male character.
The option was easy for me. Someone just killed a person who was glamoured to look like her. I'd REALLY rather have her with me, where I can keep an eye on her and make sure no harm comes to her.
Yeah, sure, she can take care of herself, but even so, better safe than sorry, right?
