Bigby vs Prince Brandish
I made a thread earlier about Prince Charming vs Bigby because I was mistaken on a comic panel thinking the person Bigby was fighting was Prince Charming. Anyways, Bigby vs Prince Brandish. Who do you think will win this epic battle?

I LOVE Bigby, but I'll have to go with Prince Brandish on this one. I would get into it, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't got up to that point yet.
Prince Brandish opened console:

Hypothetically? Bigby would literally blow Brandish away...but Brandish fights dirty.
Doesn't Bigby fight dirty too?
Bigby has trouble with elite swordsmen.
May I ask, why is it that Bigby has trouble with elite swordsmen?
Prince Brandish kicked Bigby's ass,but i still bet on Bigby.I think he would be able to take him on again and win! (Plus,i think Brandish is a man-whore,like Charming, and i hate princes)

Well,Bigby is big and not that fast. His fighting is based mostly on brute force and a little agility.Brandish, however,is smaller and faster, and doesn't put a big price on force. He doesn't go for the killing strike. He makes many little wounds,by being fast. And many little wound do more damage then NO wounds.I know your comment was about swordsmen in general, but let's just pretend my answer is what you really wanted.

I don't want to get too far into the scenario but...Bigby fights Brandish in his wolf form, and that's it. It's just who he is. Brandish, on the other hand, equips himself with indestructible gear, enchantments, and an "ultimate" weapon and calls it skill and cunning. For lack of a better term, he's overpowered. It's cool, but an unarmed Brandish doesn't have a chance.
Why the fuck is my same comment posted so many times?
Doesn't Brandish kill Bigby or something?
Sadly, he does.
That motherfucker...runs off and sobs
He is OP. Really OP. I mean, immortal, if you hurt him, you'll be hurt in same way, he has a sword that has 100000000000000000000000000 spells and magic.
He is definitely OP. In video game terms he's that guy who hacks his game so that he can be invincible in multiplayer and then proceeds to run around cheesing everyone else. My thought is that if he had to do all of that to beat Bigby, then he wasn't all that good (or all that confident) in the first place. But, Brandish is easy to hate, so that's probably why I feel that way.
Goldilocks was able to wreck Bigby with a rifle...just saying...
But Bigby did say that those bullets will not work on him so even if Snow didn't hit her with the axe Bigby most likely would have got her.
Ummmm he was clearly beat down...I suggest you reread the comic. He did attempt to make one final lunge at her and she blew a hole through the back of his throat.
It is implied that Bigby is coming back.
Yes but than he would have lunged at her again till she either misses or runs out of ammo. Those bullets don't work on Bigby add that to the fact that Bigby is a very popular fable to mundanes making him hard to kill.
Goddamn, I knew he died but I didn't know how. There's next to nothing about it on any websites.
Actually the bullets were extremely effective. I dunno how you can argue otherwise when he was half dead on the ground.
They hurt like hell, but they wouldn't kill him. Snow intervened when Goldilocks said she would burn Bigby. Hence considering time Goldilocks had the upper hand when combined with thinking. If it were just bullets that Goldilocks planned, Bigby would eventually kill her.
They hurt him that's true but i just can't see how she could have kept Bigby down for good. Bigby would have gotten the upper hand at some point she would either miss or run out of ammo (She would not have enough time to reload).
You just admitted she was about to kill him with fire. If she had the time to do that then she clearly won the fight.
Well I saw what the comic showed. At that was Goldilocks handing Bigby his ass. He wasn't even able to move after the final shot.
Nobody is arguing that Bigby didn't have a hard time with Goldilocks. However, he would've won that fight. Whether Snow stepped in or not. As you were told many times Bigby would've just keep getting up until she would've run out of ammo. And even if she somehow would've set him on fire, Bigby would just blow the fire away.
I am looking at the page right now in my hardcover. Bigby got knocked out by the final shot. Goldilocks was already collecting the wood to Bigby him alive before Snow saved his ass. It was much more than "a hard time" and no he wasn't going to win.
How was he going to blow a fire out when he is unconscious and had a gaping hole in the back of his throat?
She shot him like 3-4 times in a row and he gotten up and started healing himself in mere seconds. That's more than enough for him to blow the fire if he needed to. And if you are wondering how he would escape if she would've indeed set him on fire:
I've noticed you read the comics, so you might know of this. Now i'm not saying it's impossible for Goldilocks to kill Bigby. But i just don't see it happening in that particular situation.
Didn't you read my post. Goldilocks planned to outsmart Bigby. Bigby wouldn't have the time to blow out the fire. If she weren't going to outsmart Bigby, then it would be a clear victory for Bigby. Goldilocks did plan on outsmarting Bigby, meaning Goldilocks would have clearly won.
And i agree with that. It's just that i doubt it would've been so easy. Sure, she had the upper hand on him and she specifically said she will shot him again to make sure he doesn't get up as she makes the fire. But how long will it take her to light the fire, let alone burn him completely? How many bullets did she had? All i'm saying is Goldilocks needs a lot of time to actually kill him, while Bigby only needs a second.
Nope Bigby did get up after that shot but Snow had already hit her with the axe. Golidlocks would not have enough time to start a fire as Bigby would not stay down.
The point i'm trying to make is that even if Snow did not hit Goldilocks Bigby would have gotten up and Golidlocks could have shot him again and again but she would not be able to kill him, Hurt him yes but kill him no. Goildilocks plan really failed the only way she could have escaped is if she shot Bigby in the head one more time giving her enough time to make her escape before Bigby got back up again then come back with a better plan now she knows that silver bullets are useless against Bigby they can only stall him not kill him.
Yeah, how much later was that? Goldilocks had already collected enough firewood for a long winter. She would have just shot him again. Bigby couldn't even tag her at point blank range.
Well you can feel free to believe that, but he got his ass kicked. He was half dead and unconscious before Snow came along.
You seem to keep neglecting the fact that Bigby was unconscious. I also said nothing about escape. There was no escape, he wasn't moving. I made the point that Bigby would be blowing anything out because he had a hole the size of a watermelon in the back of his throat/head.
"Half dead"? No again we have already established that those bullets can't kill him so no he wasn't even half dead. She could not start the fire in time he would have gotten back up. Also fire would have been as useless as the bullets as he can easily blow his way out since Bigby is the son of North Wind witch makes him Half demi-God. Really theirs no way Goldilocks could have killed Bigby in that situation she would have had to make an escape and come back with a better plan now she knows Bigby a bit better now. But even that would have been hard since Bigby is a great tracker.
And you also seem to neglect the fact that those bullets won't kill him, let alone render him unconscious. I've already said that we don't know how many bullets Goldilocks actually had. Also, how long it would have taken her to light the fire, while also burn him completely? I tell you, more than enough for Bigby to find the one second he needs to kill her.
And he stood up when Goldilocks already fell from the cliff. Snow did have to intervene is what I'm saying.
