  • I especially liked all the off topic lightsaber stuff done on the discussion, lol.. That spaceballs one was hilarious!

I think telltale staff should talk more on the discussion thread.. It would probably go a ways to make people feel better like they are being heard.

    Instead of ignored...

  • I know I would feel better if they engaged the community more.

Cats are funny, also I agree with MyTwoCents. Had to put that in there so I didn't get a warning for being off topic........ :P

And to clarify.. I am talking about the telltale talking with the community more comment.

  • In the old forum, there was a list at the bottom of the main page of all the people who were online at that time. Some people might have thought it was a bit creepy but I thought it was nice seeing when Telltale staffers are online, even if they don't post anything. Just knowing when that they were at least reading through some of the posts on here gave a sense that they were engaging with the community in some capacity.

  • It looks like episode 2 of the 2nd series Walking Dead has be delayed, like I said the series are going to take a hit, it can't be helped the way things are run by telltale it is just going to happen. hopefully Telltale won't get to much back clash but since their fans are passionate they probably will.

Well, if The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us can wrap up sometime in the summer, that should give Telltale a few months to heavily promote

  • drivers upto date ?

which gpu do you have ?

i assume your hard drive is fairly clean/ defragged and then there's your cpu/ram doing anything else ?

also how did you get the game ?

saying your pc works doesn't actually mean it is the right spec for example if it's the same or a bit better than the minimum requirements that's probably why it lags.

then again the xbox/psn verisions lag too but my pc doesn't.

My only other advice for Telltale is the lag, and choppiness is annoying, can't they fix that? My computer is in pretty good working order and

  • I have 4 ram, terabit hard-drive 9800 Nvidia graphic card. I think I can handle it.

  • well something isn't right if you get lag.

    i7 950 3.07ghz oc to 3.8ghz stable
    6gb ram
    64 bit vista
    2 tb raid 0 via 4 x500gb hdd
    ati 4890 1gb powercolor

no lag what so ever lol

  • Absolutely true, but for the time being, we can't merge discussions for now.

I see a few stray threads and comments about issues with and solutions to Telltale's releases. Maybe a mod could merge them into this one or something? It's better to have one focused thread than several scattered ones.

  • Trying to make two game series (TWD ad TWAU) was a huge a mistake as it caused us delays; at least that's what I think.

  • your not a "walking dead" or a "wolf among us" fan are you. that's fine everyone has their own opinion.

  • Actually I am a fan of the Walking Dead (have you seen my activity in Episode 2 discussion?), I'm just saying Telltale is putting too much workload on their hands.

  • No I haven't and how could I? I am new to tell tale games, and I am new member to this website. I don't recognise any usernames around here. Me personally I love walking dead and the wolf among us.

I agree that tell tale seem to take on more series at one time, more then they can handle.

Yeah being nervous about that stuff is a good idea. but you can give yourself a fake name for online stuff.

EDIT: not when buying stuff I mean.....when you are talking about yourself.

  • I don't know if anyone suggested a world war 2 game but with your company's format of gaming..a war game would be incredible.. Vietnam war.any real war with the way your company presents the story..woooo...I'd love it

  • I agree with some of the early posters about finishing at least 1 extra episode before release. And to answer the point some raised in argument, that people will complain just as much because Telltale is holding back an unfinished episode– that doesn't really make sense. We don't know anything about their release schedule for a new game/season until they promote it and give us a date, so if they push back release we would have no idea because it would be the first we heard about it, and therefore it shouldn't be an issue.
