Why did Christa go in the men's bathroom with Omid instead of going with Clementine?
I always found this a little strange. Yes, Clementine did have her gun, but she's still a little girl. Maybe if Christa had gone with Clementine, then Clementine wouldn't have left her gun on the sink while checking the stalls, and nobody would have had to die.

It really made no sense at all for TT to make them go into separate restrooms to "clean" up. My only guess is that Christa and Omid wanted to some alone time to get it on. Hopefully this can be explained a little bit on the new episode of Playing Dead comes out.

They should have checked the room with Clementine and make sure she is safe there. Then again, the whole killing-off-Omid scene felt a bit forced and constructed...
I kinda agree, but it was a teaching moment for her... I mean, not Omid getting shot, but teaching her that young how to take care of herself. Not long after Lee died, she was just a girl and disregarded safety, trying to open random doors without making sure it was safe. Now, she has learned caution (for the most part). How was Omid supposed to know that the thing that put her in danger would come from outside? I mean, what are the chances of a robber coming in on Clementine right as Omid and Christa went to do it in the exact same pitstop ten minutes later? Nobody could have expected that.
You're right about the danger from outside thing, but remember when Christa gave Lee hell for taking Clementine to that house near that train bridge? Well, that situation wasn't so different except that Clem had an armed man watching out for her. It just seemed kind of... not Christa-like to leave Clem alone to go in the bathroom.
That whole sequence didn't seem right to me. I mean, even before the scavenger girl shows up the game tries to build suspense by making it seem like there is something hiding in one of the stalls. Logically, it doesn't make much sense that Clem would even be allowed to go into a desolate bathroom alone, but I'll give TT the benefit of the doubt and just assume that it was a mistake on Christa and Omid's part.
Really? I thought it would be exactly what Christa would do, even for her age. Christa was always like, "You need to learn these things eventually, Clem; I'm not going to be around to survive for you." and a lone wolf even before Omid's death, so it wouldn't surprise me that when Clem showed to take care of herself, Christa let her go a bit on her own and show that Clementine can in fact survive on her own.
I had a fun discussion about this in my thread right after episode 1 came out.
