How will Telltale handle the variables?
As many already know, the determinant deaths in this latest episode make for quite the list. I personally liked it a lot because of the branching, it really makes you feel that your choices matter.
I do wonder, how will they handle the determinant characters that make it (or not) to Episode three? Is their role going to be diminished? Or will them living (or dying) really have an impact on the remaining three episodes? Will they survive, only to be killed early later?

I thought this too, and I think that if they did not die in episode 2, they will in episode 3. Same with Pete. Once someone dies, even if you can choose the death, they are obviously not in Telltales grand scheme.
It'll be tough, but I trust Telltale to handle it and deliver it the best way possible
They could survive the episode just to leave and never be seen again. Or just stay alive with a very minor role that is taken by someone else if they got killed. Maybe I am a bit too optimistic today.
