Questions i wanna know off users interested?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

1. Do like controlling one character or would would like to control different characters examples for me like to control flashacks for other characters like how Kenny survived, what happened before Lee got in the police car etc.

2. Do like in terms of gameplay how telltale how done s2 do think it's an improvement?

3. If telltale asked you more decisions or more hub areas which pick and why?

4. What percentage of cut-scenes do you want example maybe 50-50 gameplay and cutscenes for me be 60% gameplay 40% cut scenes just have enough time to get story depth?

5. Do think clem really matured and is badass for me less mentally stable then s1 and seems find harder to feel happy or get her points across. All fights she struggles in zombie or bandits and is constantly abused and bullied by others. I don't think she badass more unhappy little girl and because death of lee she lost hope and in constant fight to prove himself and gain respect of others. But from my perspective like this better can relate more.

6. Do decisions have enough effect?

7. Are any plotholes or moments in story you were disappointed with for me sam the dog and omid seems like just kill them off as quickly as can for feels and whole "i got lucky" Kenny moment?

8. Are you happy with length because to be honest since joined the forum never heard one comment saying to long lol and if are unhappy why think so short?

    1. One character is enough for me. I liked 400 days, but I'd have one well-established character to develop through the season any day.

    2. Nope. Well, you have to define "gameplay" here. For me, they went a step backwards.

    3. ...fuck you, next question. I think that if it comes down to it, more decisions.

    4. S1 was 60-40 no? Something like that.

    5. What exactly is the question? Did she mature? Well, yes, she did. Some people hate how she did it and the time jump didn't help, but she definitely matured.

    6. Remains to be seen. For the moment, the determinant characters seem to indicate they will indeed affect the story. On the other hand, I feel that it's the "social" choices that seem not to be affecting things much. Carlos and Rebecca are my examples. You can threaten Rebecca on the premiere and Carlos may say he does not trust you, come EP2 and all is forgiven. There are a thousand justifications members of the community have made, but it still stands out to me as odd.

    7. Larry could have gotten lucky, too!

    8. No, I think they are short this Season. Length, however, is an easy thing to increase if they put in certain things...

  • Thanks nice answer

    * One character is enough for me. I liked 400 days, but I'd have one well-established character to develop through the season any day. *

    1. I'm perfectly fine with just one character (though watching what happened to Lee tore me apart)

    2. Think it's roughly the same or definitely improved, depending on the topic

    3. They both have their merits. So I have no idea.

    4. Think the formula they have now is okay. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

    5. She's definitely not the same little girl Lee found in her treehouse. That said, she's still the same Clementine to me, just one that knows how to watch over herself without aid.

    6. Most of the time. Depends on the Decisions and their resulting aftermath

    7. As overjoyed as I was to see him alive and well, Kenny's lack of explanation to how he survived bugs me. That said, I got a feeling it will be explored more in the future episodes.

    8. See #4

  • Faith was a good episode...better than Episode2! I agree!

    1. One character per season is good enough.

2.I think its about the same. What it lacks in roaming it makes up in amazing storyline.

3.Decisions. I miss the days where we actually knew when we were making a decision. When I was talking to Walter about Nick I was so lucky to choose the hes a good guy option..

    4.Same as you

5.Yeah shes changed... They grow up so fast.

6.Meh. Saving Nick and Alvin will hopefully have effect. I still hope the man on the river survives cause I gave him water.

7."I got lucky" was probably it and very annoying!

8.Its okay. Could be longer but so far as long as they keep up the good work then I wouldn't mind.

    1. One is enough for me, when I control multiple characters I get confused.
    2. Gameplay? Well, I'm definitely missing hub areas, and opportunities to just sit back and talk to the characters. I don't think S2 is quite as good as S1, but it would be difficult for anyone to top the greatness that was S1, so I don't mind that. S2 is still amazing though and better than most games out there imo. I'm not hating on it, so don't get the wrong idea lol
    3. More hub areas, it just isn't right without them.
    4. Enough time to get story depth.
    5. Yes, she's definitely changed, but for the better I think. She's more capable and mature now, and has adapted well to the environment she's in. I would expect her to be unhappy or cold due to all the things she's seen, I think it's realistic. (Cannibals, people murdering each other, bandits, kidnappers, seeing someone's head smashed in, hordes of walkers, her dead parents as walkers, walkers in general, determinately shooting her father figure/guardian and watching him die, being bitten by a feral dog... I could go on. Clem's seen some shit man) Sure, I miss innocent Clementine, but let's be real. There's no way she would survive in the world ((alone especially)) if she was still like that. I just hope she doesn't go full-on Carl though.
    6. Not really. I'm hoping that Alvin and Nick's determinant deaths and Carver getting shot in the shoulder will have some changes on the overall storyline. If they get killed off straight away in EP3 so TT can forego story-branching, or Carver isn't in bandages and doesn't hold an even bigger grudge against Kenny for shooting him, then I won't be happy.
    7. Very disappointed. Though I'm pretty sure Kenny will explain himself later.
    8. I'm fine with it. Just needs hub areas and I'll be a happy camper.

1.I'm fine with controlling one character but I admit I like how 400 days was so ethier way would be fine for me.

2.I think its about the same maybe a few flaws but for whats missing in gameplay it makes it up for in amazing storytelling. In my opinion
S2>S1.well as long as it finishes strong I think it will be better

    1. More decisions definetly I like controlling my characters thoughts and actions.

    2. I'm liking how it is right now.

    3. She is definetly more mature and I think more serious than before.i don't think shes more unhappy just more reluctant to trust people and
probably afraid if shes happy she will lose that happiness.

    4. In season 1 I don't think so but in season 2 it looks like our decisions are going to be more important.

    5. I pretty much agree with you but I also thought how clem is the only one that could turn off the transformer was a little silly. SHE ONLY HAD TO TURN THE KEY!!! how couldn't the adults figure that out lol

    6. I'm fine with it I think its just perfect. not to long and not to short

  • Thanks for answer great depth and points explained well i agree
