I didn't chop off the hand, as I was roleplaying Clementine and thought it would be out-of-character. I don't see an 11-year-old chopping off the hand of an adult without asking, even if it's for their benefit.
I chopped the thing off like someone said it worked reggie why couldn't it work now, and I also did to try and keep kenny from snapping again after katjaa I was worried he couldn't handle it
This is true. That and the fact that Walkers are attracted to fresh gore and we were hip-deep in the middle of a herd made me feel like a TOTAL idiot at the start of S2E4. I felt like shouting in my best Dr. Weird voice, "FOOLS! THAT WILL NEVER WORK!"
Had I thought it through I would've realized that there was only one way for that play out.
Quickly - and with the proper equipment to minimalize blood loss/infection of the wound.
If you don't have those on hand when amputating a limb, you're screwed.
