Carver & Glenn

So I read a lot of things on the walking dead Wiki, even the comic and saw brutal pictures.
Glenn from TWD comic, have been brutally murdered, same as William Carver:
So I though they might have something joint together?
For example Negan killed Glenn, and Negan is a brutal/violent murder, and Negan killed a nice guy.
William Carver was a violent/brutal guy just like Negan, and he got killed by Kenny.
Kenny and Glenn both had wifes, and they both loved them really much.
Kenny (as a calm and nice guy) killed a violent guy.
Do you see the role changing?
Sorry for the discoussion but yeah

  • Clue to what? There is a similarity between their deaths and it's possible that Glenn's death might have been the inspiration for how Carver dies. Although considering that Glenn's death was written over a year ago it's actually that Carver's death has a similarity to Glenn's and not the other way around.
  • William Carver have almost the same personality as Negan, Negan is violent just like William, Glenn got killed by violent man, but William Carver got killed by Kenny that usally is like Glenn, he loved his wife, right?
Do you see the role changing there? I might be wrong but yeah.

  • But what's the point of this?
  • Hard to say, but what I'm seeing is the role changing. Brutal man killed Glenn, A calm guy killed a brutal man. You see the diffrence?

  • A calm man who already killed one person in a brutal manner?

I wouldn't exactly call Kenny "calm".

  • I would not consider Kenny a calm guy by any means. He's somebody who likes to look out for the good of those he holds dear, but he makes rash decisions, and gets worked up pretty easily. Not to mention how different he is in Season 2.

  • Kenny is generally shown to be quite rash and doesn't consider the consequences of his actions.

  • Yeah, but I didn't find another word to describe him, but you know, he's not a guy that enjoy killing people?

  • I'm so bad at describing things, sorry.

  • Seriously, what's the point of this? It's probably just an homage to Glenn's death nothing more.
  • Agreed.

Kenny is generally shown to be quite rash and doesn't consider the consequences of his actions.

  • That Kenny killing Carver in such a brutal manner is the start of him going to the dark side.

  • Maybe, but it's not an homage to Glenn's death, it's a discussion.

  • I was talking about the scene in general being an homage to the comics.

Maybe, but it's not an homage to Glenn's death, it's a discussion.

No, the thread is clearly named Carver & Glenn. So I assume OP has some sort of point in making this thread, which I can't figure out, hence my question.
Of course going to town on a guys head with a crowbar is a sign of going dark, but this doesn't really have anything to do with Negan or the comics, it's just common sense.

That Kenny killing Carver in such a brutal manner is the start of him going to the dark side.
