did our experience with carver help us realize the other villains weren't as bad ?

before this episode everyone thought the st. johns and stranger were more evil than carver but now most people changed their mind. what did carver do to make us change our mind like that? we hate him more now than cannibals and the guy who got lee killed. that's how bad bill turned out to be

    Yeah but the st. Johns were cannibals, Carver, i hate him with all my heart but at least he kept his group feeded and never eat human meat, he was a jerk though

    I judge people based on how they treat Clem. The St. Johns were going to kill her. Carver saw potential in her and even gave a speech about how he liked kids like her being stronger than the previous generation. Personally, I still hate the St. Johns more.
