Telltale Staff

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
I feel bad for the Telltale developing staff, they are being, frankly put, overworked and it's reducing quality on all fronts, which in turn puts even more stress on them from their superiors. I hope that they can find a productive balance some time in the future, and the quality and timeliness improves. I know it is not the developer's fault directly, the company just bit off more than it could chew $$.

  • they didn't have to bite off more than they could chew though, they had 2 perfectly good series going on right then and could wait to announce them and now there main series quality are hurting because they made the decision to show them off sooner than later
  • The people sitting for hours making the games probably didn't want to do that, but that isn't their choice. Thats what I'm saying.

Exactly. Two games is enough to be working on, especially considering that Telltale's staff apparently numbers about 120.

  • I bet if Season 2 was produced with the same vigor, vitality, and ingenuity as Season 1, this board's happiness would be unparalleled to any other gaming forum.
  • Well, that remains to be seen.

  • It's not looking so great so far, look for the "Telltale is ignoring us" thread and read the Original post.

  • I have looked for it, and I have read it. In fact, I have posted in it several times.

  • CFO, CTO, CEO, The Directors. They decided to do this, not every individual programmer and developer. Of course, it's their job, and they probably enjoy what they do, but I'm sure they didn't ask for this kind of workload.

  • i'm pretty sure every employee has an input also in what the company does, and they wouldn't let them announce it if they knew it would hurt their main series
