How did ____ get those scars?

I can't imagine what had happened to Christa and Clementine in the 16 month time skip. I don't think Clem got those scars from the walkers. I might be wrong but in the TWD universe if you get scratched by a zombie, you get the same fate as you are bitten by one. Feel free to post any theories of how Clem got those scars.

I think that is just detailing on her face. "Etching" I think it's called. It gives dimension.

They're not scars, it's just the comic book style of the game. A lot of characters have the same sketch lines on them.

They are stress marks, usually comic books use these lines to show signs of wear. So technically they are not scars but maybe scratches.
I just imagined Clem imitating the Joker. "You wanna know how I got these scars?"

I don't see any scars. I thing that is just her character and the design. if it were scars it would look like mikes. HIS are scars!
when a child gets older there face get... less round. so they probably put this to make it look like her face is getting more shape because shes getting older.

I think they're just the "details" of her face. If it were a scar, they would be red/purple/etc.
