How do you post pictures

I know where to press and that but everytime I try it, it just goes to alt text
(I'm on an iPad)

Am I the only that is to stupid to find out? :3

    This works for both pictures and links.

    Steps

    -Hold a picture and/or gif until a menu pops up and press Copy.

    -In a different Tab, paste it right on top where you're supposed to type a website's name. Then, a link will appear there, copy that.

    -Come here and press the Picture Icon next to Earth and paste the link. It should work.

    That's the only way to copy an image's URL in the new IOS.
