Kenny's upset with me
In Season 1 Episode 1, when Larry wanted to get rid of Duck, I told Kenny that we should reason with him. When Larry persisted, I stood up for Duck, threatening violence if necessary. Larry really appreciated my sticking up for his kid. When Larry punched me out, Kenny saved me from the walkers.
In Episode 2, though, Kenny seems to only remember my choice that we should reason with Larry (as opposed to telling Kenny to punch Larry). He doesn't seem to remember that I protected Duck and threatened Larry with violence to protect Duck. When he's pushing Duck on the swing, I asked him how his family was doing. To my surprise, he said that I didn't seem to care too much when Larry wanted to throw him out at the drug store. Lee seemed to agree with his assessment, saying "That was a long time ago. A lot has happened since then."
What gives? I have consistently always been there for Kenny. and supported him over Lily.
If relevant, my food choices were: Clementine (my kid), Duck (can't ignore the other kid), Mark (doing physical labor and feeling weak), and Larry (doing physical labor, is not in good health, and can't afford to appear to be ignoring Larry's family after giving Duck food).
Do I need to replay Episode 1 starting from the drug store? If so, how can I know if I handled it properly (with respect to Kenny) before reaching mid Episode 2?
Appreciate any help.

Lenny?
Sorry, I meant Kenny.
Lenny? Do you mean Kenny? Haha.
(Edit to be constructive to the thread :P) Kenny is a funny guy in season 1, you have to side with him in 90% of everything for him not to be upset with you. Try siding with Kenny by getting angry at Larry, tell Larry that we are not throwing Duck out and tell Larry that you'll have to go through him to get to Duck.
He means Kenny
I figured it was a mistake, but that mistake kept appearing, so I wondered if it was some kind of a joke or something.
Kenny can be kind of a jerk if you don't side with him. If you want to be on his good side during the drug store part, protect Duck and say that you want to fight Larry. You'll lose major points with Lilly but Kenny will appreciate your support.
Same thing I was wandering then I read "Lenny saved me from the walkers" Then I knew he was talking about Kenny, So it was a mistake.
Edit I am not being a jerk to the OP
Thanks. I could understand if he were upset with me for trying to keep the peace (even though I've been good to him), but him accusing me of abandoning Duck to die (and me/Lee agreeing that I abandoned him to die) is disappointing.
Anything you can do to help Kenny and his family will give you big points with Kenny but you have to keep it up all the way through season 1. You said Kenny was angry with you for "abandoning Duck to die" did you pick to save Duck at the farm or did you choose Shawn?
Thanks. I remember that I told Kenny to reason with Larry (I had the option to tell Kenny to hit Larry, but didn't take it). When that didn't work, I threatened to fight Larry (instead of asking Kenny to punch Larry). Was this enough or did I have to ask Kenny to hit Larry?
It should be as long as you get the 'you sided with Kenny' notification or anything pro-Kenny, but I know for a fact that he'll be grateful towards you if you tell Kenny to hit him. I think later on he'll thank you for sticking by him or something like that.
I chose Duck at the farm. He's still alive now.
I didn't tell Kenny to hit Larry (I told Kenny to reason with him - could that be a problem?), but I did threaten Larry that I would fight him to protect Duck.
Kenny really appreciated me both times, and rescued me from the walkers in Episode 1.
In Episode 2, I gave Duck food (but didn't give Kenny or his wife food).
I can't remember the options at the drugstore but picking "We Kick His Ass" instead of "reason with him" is worth Kenny points as well, don't worry you don't actually hit him, it's just letting Kenny know you have his back. Is this your first ever playthrough of The Walking Dead?
At least 3 of you corrected him "Lenny ? You mean Kenny" -.-
Telltale masters the illusion of choice, 99.9% of the choices you make only make a message pop up on the screen. For instance, you could be a complete dick to Kenny in every conversation, but if you side with him on the Larry's death he'll love you forever.
Thank you. Yes, it is my first playthrough and I'm still at Episode 2.
Thanks
Cool, you'll love it, be careful on the forums though, lots of season 2 spoilers around haha. I would make a suggestion though, if you want to be pro Kenny but you don't get there on your first playthough then make a second, I believe the walking dead is all about the choices we've made and consequences of those choices, it's what makes the game so amazing. Try going through your first playthrough doing what you think is right and make a second playthrough for a pro Kenny or pro Lilly if you don't get it the first time
Kenny's almost always mad, it's hard to avoid that.
But naw, I wouldn't replay. He becomes your best friend if you help him in the meatlocker.
Thanks all of you. After listening to your advice, I decided not to change my decisions and proceed as it happened. As far as I'm concerned, I didn't allow Duck to be thrown out of the drug store to be eaten by walkers. I defended him. And Kenny's an ass if he forgets that I stood up for his kid.
Ahh, the joys of disagreeing with Kenny.
Well L on the keyboard is right next to K....
If you try to give Katjaa food she says no.
