why kenny has been acting differently (just a theory)

have you noticed that kennys been acting differently? if not, Sarita specifically asked you that question to make you notice and then Kenny angrily has sarita do not work.

Well its just a theory that i believe in of why Kennys acting this way
In the middle of season 1, Kenny looses his wife and son. Kenny only has the comfort of his friends (and ben). At the very end of the season Kenny zips off to either save Ben or to save Christa.

Kenny says (me paraphrasing) that he was lost and alone for quite a while, so long that his beard was bigger then it is now (I believe I heard that it takes from two months to six years to grow a beard). So the minimum was around two months of how alone he was. He was holed up in some resteraunt (probably the 400 days one) until he met Sarita. He had no more grieving to do. He felt whole again.

Well you know the story, He clicks with Sarita very well, they meet a group and chill there until he meets Clementine again. Sarita asks Clem if Kenny is any different (to get the viewer noticing this) and then she tries to do work as Kenny angrily makes her not to.

When Kenny asks “pass that can Duck.” and then just stops and realizes what he just said, it shows that he isnt over it. He isnt over the things that happened in season 1. Once Bill “A man chooses a Slave obeys” Carver walks in and kills Kennys new friends, HE EXPLODES

“Im gonna punch the first sonuvabitch i see. Then take his gun and use it to shoot the next sonuvabitch i see” - Kenny 2014, as everyone tells him to calm the fuck down.I see this as Kennys mainly just trying to protect Clementine and Sarita, but in the end, its just reckless.

S2 Episode 3 is pretty irrelevant with my idea except for when he talks about duck and the very end and the beginning of S2 Episode 4. When Sarita gets bitten (you can cut it off, which i dont blame Kenny for being angry at me for practically killing his girlfriend) and Sarita is now out of the picture. Kenny is now back to S1 Kenny. He feels alone again.

This time its a little different, the closest person to him now is Clementine (which Clem may or may not have made him start grieving in the first place) and not Lee. He tries to fight Lee or just plain out ignore him, With Clemetine, he cant hurt her. No matter what if he hurt Clementine he would feel horrible about it and there would be bad consequences.

This is where my theory pops in (very late into the post) When the baby pops into the picture, Kenny takes care of it. He takes care of it WAY TOO MUCH. As if it was his. Rebecca even asks at one point to have her baby back after she called for the child. Kenny later gives Rebecca no time to rest even though, he of all people, know that mothers who recently gave birth need time to rest (unless you give her time but even then she can barely go on).

Kenny Is wierdly treating Rebecca badly and if anyone objects he just brushes it off and says that its a dumb idea. Later at the very end of the episode, Rebecca is tired. Kenny is the first one to be like “Ill take the baby off your hands, you know?” while Rebecca says shes fine and Kenny insists.

This is where Luke starts noticing something wierd. He notices that Kennys really wierd when it comes to the baby. Luke tells Kenny to back the fuck off and Kenny gets angry at Luke for saying the truth. Arvo walks in like “yo wassup listen to my rap album” and Rebecca passes away (RIP IN PEACE REBECCA) most likely from having no time to rest.

If you dont shoot Rebecca, Kenny turns to her and with a stoic face, shoots her and doesnt give two shits about it. Luke is like “WHAT THE FUCK” as the gun fire goes off and the episode ends.

I believe that Kenny wanted Rebecca to die. I think that he cant handle being alone again. Im thinking that Kenny is like a certain kind of child. The kind when the childs pet dies, they get a new one to replace the old one. The child doesnt have time to grieve, maybe internally but they have to play with the new one. I think that thats what Kennys doing.

The second Sarita dies he goes to the baby and kills her mother with no hesitation when she comes back as a walker. I believe that Sarita was just a replacement for Katjaa, Rebeccas child is just a replacement for Duck, and Kenny is just a replacement for a child whose dog was replaced.
