It's season 3, we are going to continue clem's story whether people like it or not. if we don't , then it's be senseless to call it "season 3". That's why episode "6" was called "400 days". Since they're all different stories, not relevant to are Lee and clementine's story.
I'm on the fence. I was intrigued to play as Clem, but the theme of her age can be hit and miss.
I enjoyed the options where her age was apparent, like playing up to people's sympathies with [Sad Eyes]. I liked how playing as a child made the first meeting with Carver so unsettling and awkward, and I like when combat has to play to her resourcefulness as opposed to her strength.
At the same time, the group's over-reliance on her became increasingly apparent in the scenarios where they all wait on the side-lines. And I liked the idea of interacting with another child like Sarah in a way that an adult couldn't have done, but that never really reached full fruition.
Ultimately, I agree with those who would like to see more of Clem, but hope to see her abilities grounded a bit more. Work with the strengths she already has (speed, resourcefulness, intelligence); she doesn't need to be strong enough to kick in doors or work with an overtly dependent group to make her look valuable.
How cool would it be playing as a teenaged Clementine? We've played as a grown man, a little girl and for next season? I say teenager. It also shows how the characters have aged in appearance and mentality. If we do, we'd most likely see a different personality from Clementine and the others. And how adorable would it be to see Rebecca's baby (which I call Little Al) grow up in a time like this? Especially if he's 4 or 5 or 6.

It was the one where Greg Miller was being a douche . It was linked earlier on these boards in another threads. I think you would enjoy watching it, it'll give you a idea of how telltale thinks.
omfg I don't want to be a little girl again. (I've already explained why on other threads of this nature, so I won't go into the why unless asked). I don't see why people want there to be another timeskip? That is the last thing I want, if they keep skipping forward large periods of time you lose connection with the characters. There's now a huge gap of time that we weren't present for that most likely won't be explained. Not to mention it would kind of take away from the constant "no one is safe" reminder of how limited the characters' time on earth is, that overall desperation to survive would be jaded somewhat if we keep fast forwarding. Also, Clem being 13-14 is still "little girl" status honestly.
yeah a time skip for clementine wouldn't really change anything, given the limited time that could go by, i would just prefer to be a different character

I thought the two year timeskip in the comics was the two year timeskip from Season 1 to Season 2?
Anyway, we're focusing on Clementine's story. Not Rick's or Carl's. I'm sure that Telltale is allowed to jump as far as they want as long as it doesn't intervene with the comics.
I understood the timeskip from S1 to S2. But if they did it too many times it would be annoying. You would lose some of the connection with the characters and miss out what could of and has happened.

Nah. The vents before the timeskip take 2 years. Then, timeskip happens.
I'm not sure, so don't judge, but I think that Kirkman don't allow Telltale to gar further the comics. I mean, it's his universe and all. Not sure though.

What would be good about a timeskip is that it would probably mean less talk about Lee. After 5(?) years Clem would most likely have dealt with those issues. Or at least they wouldn't be at the front of her mind.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Lee moments, but I think the next season should focus on the next season and not use season one as a crutch again.
Move on and let the new season create its own "feels".
Yep, I'm pretty sure this won't be my most popular post ever. :P

Sadly, 13 is the oldest age Clementine can reach in Season 3. Comics storyline won't let Telltale go too far.
Thanks. I'll get back to you on that when I get the chance. I'll edit this comment later for my response regarding it.

I doubt he wouldn't let them as long as it doesn't intervene with the comics.
