New Walking Dead Game announced!
Skybound has teamed up with Overkill (makers of Payday 2) to make a new co-op Walking Dead game, scheduled to be released in fall 2016!

Saw this earlier today I trust the team behind Payday so i'm kind of looking forward to it.

Also, the person in the house is clearly Anti-Lee from the nega-verse.
That scene could have been Clementine's fate, if Lee hadn't showed up and saved her in S1E1.

I believe that it might be great. I wouldn't doubt and judge this game before its release, that would just feel like choosing to have a shallow mindset or ignorant thinking. Many folks doubted Tell-Tale's Walking Dead Season 1 before release and look how superb that became to be. Most probably haven't even witnessed any game play yet.. All I can say is that it could be the beginning of an incredible hit game, or it could be a dud. But it is likely that it will be decent with Robert Kirkman endorsing the game for his franchise that he created and if the game studio is that reputable.

I wonder which of the two current canons this game will be set in. Either that of the comics (which includes the telltale games and the novels) or that of the television series (which includes the webisodes and Survival Instinct game)? Or maybe it could be both. I know it was said that it won't have relation to the story from any of them, but it still has to have its own universe. Unless they just decide to separate it and set it off in its own continuity as well.

No that last part you misunderstood me. I meant is skybound helping, or whatever they do, so it might be good. The overkill one. The mobile it just has that cool looking trailer.

its the comics the developers are partnered with skybound (the publishers of the comics) which telltale are partnered with too and robert kirkman is sort of helping with them

Ah, I see. This could be really cool then. It mentions Washington in the trailer, so I guess we will see the area around the Alexandria safe-zone and the capitol at the beginning of the apocalypse. Pretty cool, I want to see the Washington Monument in all its walkery glory.
Chances are it'll be exactly like contagion. Dark, good graphics, co-op, slow headshots only zombies, etc.
