Is there hope?
Do you guys think the world can eventually get back to normal after multiple years of struggling and survival?

No
Eh, The comics are 3 or 4 years in I think, The only hope I think there is ,is Walkers Dying from Degrading but I doubt Kirkman would make things back to normal...
I think so, maybe. I mean maybe the world could just accept this is life now, and eventually build together and keep everyone alive. If they die of old age, kill them. Just the threat of multiple people dying and taking over a small town
i think it could be a possible scenario.
As far as we know most of the humans turned during the first few month of the outbreak.
So even if Walkers don't starve to death they will decompose after a period of time.
In other words: Most of the walkers will decompose in the first years leaving the survivors in a better position
(less walkers that are able to kill you). If the human race survives long enough, humans will get back to a "normal" life.
Of course there would still be a problem: after all everyone who dies turns into a walker -> humans would never get rid of them.
Because of that calling life a "normal" one seems odd. I guess it would always be different.
Nevertheless the number of walkers would decrease.
There are already safe zones where people can have a somewhat 'normal' society in the comics. So I think civilization is slowly getting back on its feet.
It won't ever be the same as it used to be (walkers will always be a threat especially since every dead body gets back up) but I think thinks will get better someday.
yeah, in like 20 years everything would be back to "normal", even without a cure, people would be used to people turning into zombies and there would be safety precautions built into everyday life, it wouldn't take to long to get infrastructure running again especially for such a small human population, probably in 20 years people would have a life like people in the 50s-60s, except with everyday routines built around the possibility of a couple of zombies popping up, as the original amount of zombies would have drastically lessened
Has the world really changed is my question?
It could but that would be after 80 years or so.
Clementine IS hope
I doubt so too. If he gets tired of writing TWD, he'll most likely leave the story open for us. So then that'll be up to us to think about what happens next
No hope.
Yes, the walkers are going to get weaker and weaker over time. Look in the show, some walkers have no energy because they haven't fed. So, let's say a decade passes, atleast half of the walkers should be dead now.
Nope
No hope.
You're wrong in the comic are stronger and "cunning" each time.
