Episode 4 Has Erased #MyClementine

I make Walking Dead "choices" videos & after multiple playthroughs of Episode 4 I'm making this discussion. I feel like episode 4 has undone all my previous episode choices, and lacks any relevant choices with consequences. Perhaps the final option to shot a "Certain Character" at the end will carry over - but I doubt it's going to make a difference in the scene's conclusion. My personalized Clementines have been erased by the Extremely forced storyline Telltale is pushing to start the Season 2 Finale. For a longer discussion & E4 Spoilers you can watch HERE
But let me know if u agree or disagree & why in the comments

  • I disagree, if you look back at the episode 3 and 4 of season 1, 4 out of 5 of the choices in the episodes really have no consequence in the end.

You maybe should have posted this a couple days after episode 4 came out since then Telltale could look at it and see all the good point you have

  • I don't really know what you expected.

I have to admit, the episode 4 choices were pretty lazy, but it's not that diferent from Season 1. The illusion was just a little better.

I also don't get what you mean when you say ''My Clementine''. No matter what choices you make, Clem is still a character with her own personality. Just because you watched Carver get killed or Robbed from Arvo it dosen't mean she's a bad person or a psycho. You never had any control on her personality, just the way she acted.

  • oh the #MyClementine is a trend going around twitter right now, but you have a point the choices have been a illusion in the past but the illusion was very obvious this time around. Last season before the season finale we got a interesting choice at the end & the other group members would choose to help or abandon u based on the relationships you've built...i thought that was cool

  • I disagree that "MyClementine" is the thing that has been erased. I think "MyGroup" to a large extent has been neglected this season, with most characters behaving the same towards Clem regardless of her actions. But that was true throughout all the other episodes as well. If anything, "your Clementine" is the only thing in the game that you can still call yours.

  • Im not sure about all of that, we've never had alot of control over what happens. What I do know is I'm concerned about the number of people I got killed at the end of ep4.

  • Thanks I didn't realize how linear EP 4 was until I replayed it

  • I had perfect room to develop my Clementine into a depressed, pessimistic girl who had lost almost all hope. The narrative never prevented me from doing that, and I was given all the appropriate dialogue options. So yeah, I respectfully disagree.
