Telltale Actually Acting Professional ?

Its like they are growing up right in front of our eyes. Fan art, Vines, tweets about the episode. . . where was this for like every other episode ? This is exactly my biggest complaint with the game/ company. I know this episode is AHEAD of schedule and that is wonderful news BUT the other 4 episodes felt like an eternity in between and there were barely any tweets/news for extended periods of time. It seems as if finally someone at Telltale woke up and decided to take advantage of this thing called "social media" that takes a few seconds a day. As I have said for a while, "any news is good news" (when it comes to this game). . .I know for some the Vine wasnt anything special but I liked it a lot. The music was creepy and Clem walking by herself aiming a gun in the middle of a snowstorm is a greta clip to get hype.

I know Job tweeted about past episodes. and there were Vines + art etc but it was not in capacity as for this episode. Anyways, well done Telltale. Although I do speak with a short memory because I am positive once this Season is over we got ZERO updates on Season 3 for a solid year.

  • I think it might be because its the last ep of the season and they aren't working on twau now.

  • Once again, and hopefully my last time, this reason is bogus! Just because they are working on multiple games at once doesnt mena that 50 of the same employees are working on the same game.

  • Talk about a backhanded compliment.

  • Yeah.. I don't know how many people work at TTG tbh

  • As someone who is just not into the whole "social media" thing at all, who is tweeting what really doesn't matter to me. As far as I'm concerned a trailer is everything I need before an episode, and I don't even really need that tbh.

Also, the waits for episodes in season two really haven't been that bad, have they?

    180 according to this article.

You recently announced development on adaptations of two more properties, Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire) and Gearbox's Borderlands. Is it a challenge working on so many simultaneous projects?

Bruner: Our staff is up to 180 now -- we're not the small studio that we used to be. We have separate teams assigned to each title, but it works in such a way that everyone is building with and off of each other. Every chapter we do goes on to inform the next chapter, even if it's in one of the other series. We're very much one big family.

  • Nah, the waits were pretty bad. If someone has the official days in-between episodes stat, that would be great.

Pretty sure there were some that were 2 and a half months long, which is essentially the same as waiting 20-25 more days for Episode 5. Pretty ridiculous imo for 90 minutes of gameplay.

  • Because it'll probably be the best episode of this season?

  • There probably is gonna be a season two but after game of thrones and tales from the borderlands.nsame with Twd season three

  • I'm pretty sure 202 was 77 days, 203 was 70 days, and 204 was around 80 days i think.

...which wouldn't be different from any other Telltale game, as they almost always hold their cards close to their chest until shortly before an episode comes out. Typically, expecting info around 3-5 weeks before a Season's release is a safe bet going off of my past experience.

The only exceptions to this I can think of are Tales from the Borderlands (we got a trailer with a small teaser of the plot and some screenshots months ahead of release) and The Walking Dead: Season 1 (with how we had Talking Dead a while before the Season even launched).

  • You might be on to something here. . .

  • Thanks Green. What would it be for Episode 5 assuming a August 26th release date? July 22 to August 26 is what less than 40 days? I mean days wise that is a pretty significant difference.

  • It kinda makes me sad. I'd love if they'd just announce a release window (like Q4 2015 or Q1 2016), but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Actually, 'Amid The Ruins' also was 70 days.

The wait for 202 was the longest.

And it would (will) be 35 days for 205

    That's amazing, actually O.o

  • 35 days from J22 to A26.

Only half the waiting time :o

Season 3 is already in production. I'm guessing it will be released at around October 2015. I just hope they put equal attention to Game of Thrones and whatever other series will be in production around that time.

  • Thats what it should be like.

We've waited 262 (TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY TWO!!!!!!!!!!!) days for about 400 minutes of gameplay! Absolutely insane !!!!!

  • Source?

I just want to make sure that you arent one of the people who also claim that Telltale was doing rewrites this whole season.
