Don't blame that on Luke, blame that on lazy writing. The writer for AmTR was too lazy to make a proper response to Nick's death.

Considering he did that as his way of mourning because he was sick of everyone dying around him and he wanted to keep his mind off it, it's pretty understandable.
Kenny's way of dealing with loss is to yell at people and make them feel like shit. Luke's way of dealing with it is to try to convince himself its not happening.
Neither way is good, but Luke has as much of a right to judge us as Kenny does.
