Doesn't end up being the s3 protagonist, and we start out with a brand new character. We don't know anything about him, like with Lee in s1. Would you rather have his story start at the very beginning of the apocalypse or 2 years in or somewhere in the middle?

I wanna play as someone whose considered as a liability, just to prove to people that ANYONE can survive, but it all depends on the people around them
Like we play as a Ben type character? That would be nice.
Ok well set at the beginning of the apocalypse will build the character more, but since we have seen a story in this world that took a certain time in the apocalypse it would feel like step backwards.
If Clem isn't an option, I wouldn't really want to play as anyone else in the group atm. I feel like most of them are established characters so I wouldn't be making the choices I wanted, more like the ones that I feel that certain character would make.
If they make it a new protagonist, then it should be someone brand new.
A character who suffers from an illness maybe? It would add difficulty if we had to not only make sure our character doesn't get bit, but that our character takes medication or something? Maybe a mix of Ben/Nick/Sarah
i think maybe at least a year into the ZA, so we don't have to have the old "it's not the bite, it's death that turns you into a walker" or "aim for the head" or "this will all be sorted out in a month or so" conversations

Yeah right, Id rather be Clem still. But I wouldn't want to be someone new. I just hope they dont kill everyone in this group. AGAIN. Id like Season 3 to be Clem and still have Kenny Mike and Luke. Although it seems Kenny, Mike, and Luke are the most likely to die.

so maybe you convince people that you not a liability, and by doing so you make bonds with characters, plus for the protagonist its a for reason character growth?

maybe not everyone is that patience, but I a like the idea beneath what you are saying. I am just saying judgements are quickly made about certain characters in the walking dead.
