The purpose of keeping Nick alive?
i can still not see the purpose of saving him on S2E2.he was so interesting and has so much potential but in episode 3 he barely talked, an then he's killed like 10 minutes into episode 4, atleast Alvin got a sad and cool death scene, but he just got bitten and then got stuck on a fence.Don't get me wrong i loved having Nick some more time around, but he was such a wasted character.

It's the morality choice and nothing more. It's easy for people to say that this game is just a killfest, might as well give up. But what is that doing for Clem? it's not for Nick's sake that you save Nick. Nor is it really for Walter's sake. It's because Clem did the right thing, and thus gives nick those extra moments and let's Walter die without blood on his hands, that you do it.
All part of the "What will you become?" theme.
I get your point but Nick's fate wasn't really a morality choice, you only express your opinion about Nick to Walter and then he decides, so the morality choice is for Walter
Isn't the choice to save Nick hinging on a simple choice to speak up for nick's character or not? Keeping silent and not defending your friend is a morality choice. The bigger one is on Walter, but it is fueled by what Clem does.
