So Season 3...

edited August 2014 in The Walking Dead

Am I the only one who DOESN'T want Season 3 to be about Clem. Because, my ending I was happy. And there seems to be SO many endings I dont know how they can do it.

-Updating because comments seemed to grab the pitchforks. I loved Ep 5 with all my heart. I was just simply saying that I dont know how TellTale can start off with the ending when Clem is in Wellington, or back at Camp Carver, or alone. or with Kenny. Its just there is so many options and so many determinant things. I just felt like when we finish Episode 5. It should be the end of Clem's journey.

  • You need to think about the other endings! Also if there's a new protagonist I will literally never EVER play this game again.

  • I watched the first two seasons and I was planning on buying season 3 when it's out. But only if clem is the new protagonist.

  • the endings were way too harsh ! Jane i liked her but no matter what you stick with Kenny! .. still i didn't wanna see Jane die..

  • Episode 301 will be about Clem and who she was with (Jane, Jane and the Family, Ken and the baby, Clem and the baby) and everything will merge at the end of episode 1-start of episode 2 :<

  • If it's a new story telltale will commit financial suicide. Clem is their money cow!

  • Nah we need a S3 I want to know if Christa ever makes it to Wellington also what happens to the other 400 DLC characters etc.

  • IT MUST BE ALWAYS BE ABOUT CLEM!!!

  • Oh cry me a river. Your gonna let a good writing company down just cause it isn't going all your way, like a toddler having a hissy fit?

I almost wish season 3 isn't about clem, just to see your reaction.

Good story telling isn't about always pleasing the fans you know, it's about making sense.

  • You're the only one getting angry, about the possability of it taking a different direction.

All endings but one clearly show Clementine's story is over. Unless Telltale cheaps out for the fans, we're not going to see Clementine again, except through the eye's of a new protagonist.

It just makes sense story wise.

  • Please show me where I got angry? I just said I won't play it again , I never said that they should make it like that , I was just saying that I won't play it again , not saying anybody else shouldn't.

  • Depending on the timeline, I wouldn't mind playing as her again. But, the only way a new protagonist would work if she was still around, mentoring, helping whoever that is.

If people could "get over" not playing as Lee, then they can do the same with Clementine. I don't think Telltale has anything to worry about.

It's pretty simple, whoever you choose at the end, Jane or Kenny, will die within first 4 minutes of EP1, and we'll play as Clementine X months/years after these events. Just like with Omid And Christa at the start of episode 1.

  • Also if there's a new protagonist I will literally never EVER play this game again.

Sounds pretty angry and whiney to me brosif.

  • It'll be a while before they release season 3 probably atleast half a year. Plenty of time to figure out where to take it from here.

  • pls no

  • If Clem were to be the new protagonist, it wouldn't work. So many determinant endings, they wouldnt be able to do it without the community being pissed at them even more than they already are. Sorry, but it's just the truth.

  • Well, to put it blunt IMHO, we want to treat Clem as a person, but she's a product, and if the product finds buyers it sells. Therefore I'm happy to suspect that she will remain a part of this game. I'm also wishing fir her to actually be the protagonist, or one of the protagonists.

    Hooray for me =D

  • I would miss Clem too much lol. But I could see it happening. They could conceivably make season 3 about someone else and maybe merge Clem and that character in the future.
