Let's talk about S3's main character
Now that this season is finished we have to wait for S3. The problem is that Clem's story is branching and I don't think Telltales will make 5 different seasons depending on our choices.
So, is Clem's story over, if yes, who will be the new main character (someone we know, Lily, Christa? Or a brand new character?) or will Telltales find some way of continuing it, if yes, how?

Personally I want a new main character. But playing as Mike would be interesting.
It would be interesting indeed but damn... I would be so mad at him for what he did that It would be difficult for me to enjoy playing as him. But it's just my opinion
Hmm. I don`t know why you are thinking that Clems story is over. In all 6 different endings is a lot of potential to continue Clems life in the ZA and all of them are very interesting.
Christa is probably DLC material at this point. Lily ain't coming back.
Making a season 3 seems really weird for me. I know they confirmed it and all but. So many determinant choices... And I really don't like Mike now for trying to steal all our stuff and as far as we know, Kenny might have killed Mike, Bonnie and Arvo. I think a new character might be best.
They are very interesting indeed but it would be a LOT of work for Telltales to make 5 different stories, 5 different seasons. But if it happens, it would be amazing unfortunately, it probably won't.
They will probably do with season 3 what they should've done with the second one: make it about a completely different person who as a side activity occasionally stumbles upon clues to what happened to Clem which change depending on our choices in previous season.
A new character would be best, because I really don't see how they will be able to continue the game with Clementine considering how s2 ended. If they have a new character I hope it starts from the very beginning of the apocalypse instead of right in the middle.
I would say Bonnie, but I read somewhere that she could die in the ice if you don't make a hole, so it will probably be a new character. Shame, I really want Clem's story to continue.
All they need to do is start off with different beginnings...I hope ;-;
season 3 can be done quite simply
we start out like in season 2 ep1, with who ever we ended with or on our own.
something happens like walkers or bandits or random evil people and we leave the area and skip forward time to arriving at wellington/howes.
for those still there they go to the other place in search of food or supplies or survivors and then something happens ala crawford and we leave the area and move somewhere else. cos as much as a safe haven is good for the characters it would make a boring ass game after 3 episodes of the same location.
The story should always be about Clem but I think if they did a separate game about The walking dead that would be kinda cool
It's gotta be someone new, here's hoping telltale gives a try to something along the lines of creating your own survivor, nothing too elaborated just a few customization options so you can feel that your character is actually based on you.
Yeah, as cool as it would be to have like five different branching storylines, I don't really see Telltale doing such a thing, considering how linear the games have been until now. I'd love to keep playing as Clementine, but it's probably more likely that we'll be with someone new.
I'm perfectly fine with someone new, or perhaps someone recurring, but I think Clementine needs to be involved somewhat, if only to ease the transition for the players, considering how much of a fan favorite she's become. They could easily consolidate the ending with a 10-15 minute intro in episode 1, maybe give the players one last hurrah to explore/converse as her before they move on to the new person.
