This can't be the end of Clems story
I mean they know how popular she is and if it really was the end they would have hyped it way more
with taglines like the "Final chapter of Clems story" and what not so that people get crazy over it
She is basically the face of the games
sure there are many endings BUT in the end they can easily move it to the same point one way or the other
anyone agree ? I mean we are all attached to Clem at this point and not knowing if this is the last we will see of her is really annoying
I would even be ok with a new protagonist if Clem's story was really concluded but somehow I don't get the feeling

It won't be the end, all the endings were cliffhangers so they cannot leave her fate open like that.
(At least) One possibility - timeskip to tie-in all the endings into beggining of season 3
I don't see how she can be the protagonist with such different endings.
Season 3
Season Three was already confirmed at Comicon
They will have to be very smart about it, and it'll make sense.
I don't really see how they could do a season 3 without Clem being the protagonist. Another time jump seems pretty likely to me.
It still wouldn't make any sense whatsoever. So either picking one of the endings and continue that (which would make a lot of fans pissed) or make a season about what happened with Christa in the timeskip (which kinda sucks, since we know how it will end)
On the one hand, it would shock me if Season 3 didn't have Clementine as its protagonist.
On the other, I'm really not sure how they're going to get to a common start ground from such different endings.
They probably already thought this through, they wouldn't put in 5 endings if they knew that it will not work for the opening of the next season. I know it'll be like a year till we see the next season but hell they could be writing the plot now as we speak, who knows.

I honestly don't see how they can do Season 3.
I could see season 3 starting in a small camp. If you went to Wellington, it got overpopulated and you left. If you went back to Howe's it got overran, Clem makes it out, Jane does not. If Clem and A.J went alone, then she made the camp. If you went with Kenny, you 3 made the camp and Kenny died from something, maybe his eye got out of control or whatever.
It's still possible they could keep Clem and the baby for season 3. From what I've seen, there are 5 endings--1) stay with Jane and the baby, 2) just Clem and the baby, 3) just Clem and the baby at Wellington, 4) Clem, Kenny, and the baby somewhere else, 5) Jane and the baby and the family. In the wellington endings, they both specifically said in a few months they could be taking more people, so if Clem didn't end up at Wellington, she still could in a few months. Then season 3 could start them off in Wellington! It just depends if Kenny's with you, Jane's with you, or if it's just you and the baby, and that'll be tough to deal with.
They might have to pull another Omid-death right at the beginning of the season to make it work. * groan *

Here's what I hope.
I hope Kenny is the next playable character in season 3.
And that way, I can be Clementine's mentor again.
Plus I think it would be cool, to see the world through Kenny's eyes, and see what things and morals he has to teach Clementine, based on the players choices of what he says and does.
