You did the right thing, Telltale *SPOILER EP 5*

Letting Kenny die, and setting up for his death.

I liked Kenny. He was a good character. One of my favorites for season 1. He was part of a lot of memorable scenes.

BUT (NOT TALKING ABOUT THE JANE/KEN SITUATION) He needed to be put down. For the game's sake. The game was treading dangerous waters by bringing him back.

Why you may ask? Well, because it was all getting repetitive. CALM KENNY DOWN BECAUSE HE'S GETTING RECKLESS. It happened in Season 1 Episodes 4, and 5.. In my opinion, it should've stopped there. But it's fine. Then it happened in Season 2, Episodes 2-5. Don't get me wrong, Kenny's a great character. But he was dangerously close in becoming a Daryl Dixon. Over-rated, over-rated, and over-rated. Nothing new about him, no new development.

For Example; I was very intrigued when I first saw Sarah. I thought cool. another survivor around Clementine's age. let's see how far this goes. In Episode 1, we learned that she has an over-protective father. Who first says "stay away from my daughter".

Episode 2, Carlos goes from stay away from my daughter, to please watch over her.

Episode 3, help me calm down my daughter. Please, you're her friend.

Then boom, he dies in the blink of an eye. And the focus of the story goes to Kenny and the baby. Not to mention Sarah died soon after. I didn't think much of it, but I was annoyed.

I applaud Telltale for giving him various ways to end his character. I thought it was beautiful. Episode 2, 3, and 4 writers, are you listening? This is how you send off a determinant character. NICK!

Well, season 3 coming in like 2016, huh? :P

  • Compare Breaking Bad, and Walking Dead.

What did Breaking Bad do to make it highly successful? NEVER clung to same the story line. Always changed. Never kept someone alive because of fan base.
