Clem is the new Jane?

She is able to handle herself. Clem can use Jane's tactic of stomping Kenny's backside of the knee. There's an ending where she is left alone with the baby. A big horde was ahead and she knew what to do. Cover her and the baby in the blood of a walker. She changed from the beginning where she'd be grossed out from covering herself. Now she's a new person. Somewhat like Jane...but more smarter of course.

    And this is the reason I love Clementine alot now she can take care of herself now she has the tools now.

    More humane than Jane, at least.

    I find the baby's silence in the ending where Clem walks into the horde to be a little disturbing.

    No so smart is it? What if it starts screaming like crazy?

    I think the poor kid's already been desensitized to the stench and moans of the living dead. He's been through a lot of horror in his short life. Logically, however, I worry that his poor immune system would be permanently damaged by having festered remains lathered all over his body.

    Would you dip a baby into a septic tank and expect him to be okay?

    That's the reason I thought that ending was kinda stupid what if the baby crys they be died.

    While I also chose that path I think it is utterly ridiculous. In a real zombie apocalypse the smartest thing would be to form a new society as big as possible to fight off a big threat. But in the whole WALKING DEAD universe people constantly decide to be better off alone. I don't know if this some American dream of freedom, but it does not make sense.

    A little girl alone with a kid? Even without an apocalypse this is tough. How does she sleep at night without anyone on the watch? How does she get food, how out of dangerous situations?

    The writing team seems to have a knack for young, independent rogue women (also Molly in S1E4), but this is not the smart way in a ZA.
