Was anyone else worried that if you let him kill **** then you wouldn't be able to find the ****?

Anyone else shoot Kenny on their first play through just because Jane was the only one that knew where the baby was? I knew something was up when she hinted that the baby was fine. So tempted to rewind now that I know you always find the baby. I ended up alone. :(

    I thought that Jane Killed the baby, after that I wanted her Dead, SO I let Kenny kill Jane. And Then I heard baby's cry.

    She does hint that the baby is ok once Kenny runs outside. I didnt think she left the baby alone though. :(
