The Forum is in Chaos *Safe ZONE*

Is this normal? Did everyone flip out this much when Season 1 ended? Did we all argue over every little thing? This is not starting another discussion about what the hell you chose in the end.

Frankly, I DON'T CARE WHAT ENDING YOU CHOOSE.

IT'S YOUR ENDING. YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANTED! And I'm sure as hell content with mine.

Isn't that great we have that sort of freedom to choose? Again I say, thank you TellTale for creating such a wonderful game series that has been so thought provoking and inspirational to people.

  • The forum has been in chaos for Months now. Kind of sad to see what the community has become at times.

  • Hear hear! When I finished the episode I was like "Well, Telltale, you've done it again!" :)

  • Once you further analyze the ending...

well, you saw my other posts.

  • What chaos? The forum looks fine to me. I see a lot of lively discussions taking place, and I'm enjoying reading others' opinions while posting my own.

  • The Kenny v. Luke thing wasn't too bad, but this has gone to fucking chaos.

  • Exactly! TellTale did an amazing job. I was so happy with my ending. I was actually smiling. As opposed to the week long depression of Season 1 ending.

  • It used to be Kenny V Luke, now it's Kenny V Jane and Luke death threads.

  • I know. I was a Luke fan and a dwindling Kenny fan who participated in a few debates when they were at their height. But in light of things, I've changed my mind. Again.

Kenny fans and Kenny haters are in a war!(joking)Tough episode, tough choices.Tough discussions.I enjoy reading topics but SOME people are negative towards others for siding with Jane/Kenny.I can admit I can be a dick too with my Kenny favoritism.I think we should all try to calm down and respect other people's opinions

  • Very true. It's just when people are trying to invalidate anyone's opinion who didn't agree with their own.

I think this game means a lot of different things to a lot of people, so naturally we're not all going to agree on everything. But I think that's what's so fun about a discussion board: everyone gets a chance to share just how they feel about something. No one here is wrong or right, we're just swapping opinions.

And I actually enjoy the fast-paced, new-thread-minute feel of this board. I've been on dead forums before. It's not fun. This forum is always full of life and debate, and I love it because of that.

I guess it's just my opinion of Chaos. This was the first real discussion based community I ever joined.

  • It isn't really that bad here. You have to expect some level of argument when a game's community discusses their differing opinions and choices.

ps Don't worry though, it is inevitable

  • Some people strive in that sort of situation. Me, I'm too damn sensitive to people's critique. It's exactly like you said, this game means something different to everyone. It just so happens that it strikes really close to home for me.

  • This is also the internet. People can more easily discuss/argue/complain anything they want. I just didn't know, since the Luke v. Kenny threads had been mildly less... intense compared to these new ones.

You're the one who post videos of character swaps on youtube, right?

You should swap Clementine and Larry's model. And re-do like a scene from season 1.

  • Good, I didn't remember this much aggression after EP. 4. I was a bit surprised.

Oh, OK. I totally feel you, I'm a pretty sensitive person myself. I cried during the end of Season 1 and Season 2, and several spots in between. But when it comes to discussion, I don't really see it as something personal. I mean, my opinions on this game are very personal, but just because someone disagrees with me or doesn't like my view, it doesn't make my opinions any less legitimate or valid. And same with you, I might disagree with you but it doesn't mean you're wrong or stupid or anything like that.

So don't take it personally. I definitely don't log onto this board to hurt people's feelings. I just love talking about it and seeing what other people have to think, even when I disagree with them.

  • Yeah, I wouldn't consider this "chaos" either. All I see is multiple threads discussing their opinions and views on certain topics.

  • I get it now, choosing neither shows survival, choosing Kenny shows empathy and choosing Jane shows humanity.

What? Where are you getting that rationale. I saw a model swap of Kenny and Clementine and I thought it was extremely funny. Well, it was when confronting the stranger.

    Well I see it now.

Well shit, it wasn't even jewfreeus.

  • Agreed. :)

I always do take it personally though. I give my heart and soul in a lot of things I do, and when they're criticized or torn apart I feel very hurt. But I've gotten better, I'm not nearly as sensitive as I was.

And most of the time when people are being intentionally malicious, it's sort of easy to shrug them off. They're not giving real criticism, their just being mean cause they can.

Wanted to see Larry do the same thing.

Or Larry asking Lee to push him on the swing? :PPP

It all started when they decide to make Kenny survived season 1 to satisfy his fanboys desire anyway.

  • Maybe I spent to much time in them. I've been on here since I beat EP. 5 about 7 hours ago. D:
