Season 3's game file will be massive, if it's based off the continuing story of Clementine.
As you might of known, the ending for season 2 was forked into a bunch of ways.
You killing Kenny, forks into 2 other choices. going with jane, or leaving without her. Then it forks into letting the family into Howe's Hardware, or not letting them.
Same goes with Kenny. You could kill from where he killed jane, or let him live, leave without him, or with him. This also forks another big trail.
If season 3 was made (based on Clementine's path), it would require a lot more space, due to the fact that you chose a path from 12 other ones. This would cause missing a lot of cut scenes and quicktime events, designed on the specific path you chose.
This may be a problem for the android, since it's a mobile phone.

Don't know about mobile phones , but the game will be diffrent for the players. With the choices avaliable we saw that the 2 roads lead to 2 diffrent places far away from each other. So it seems that we won't all be playing the same story in season 3.
My first notion for how they'd potentially solve this issue is to make a 400 Days style DLC episode that would lead everyone's Season Two ending to the same place (probably Wellington). I guess when you played through it, it'd be about half the length of a regular episode. Then Season Three could start everyone off from the same point without having to deal with all of the multiple threads.
I agree with that idea but it depends on whether Telltale will continue Clementine's story or not.
I would think they would continue Clem's saga as its the most interesting so far. Otherwise they might have to start over from square one with brand new characters to develop on the same level as the likes of Lee, Kenny and Clementine which could also be as much work as continuing from the different season 2 ending paths. And I think the Wellington ending was the real true canon ending. As that was the purpose of the entire game from episode 1 with Christa explaining how Wellington was the place to go. The Jane and Howe's ending was probably just for the sake of variety and what if's. Now I'm interested in how the Clementine and AJ alone ending would have turned out because when alone with the baby it appears as though she might be going south in the opposite direction of Wellington maybe giving up on finding it and believing it to not really exist. If that was the only possible ending without Kenny and Jane being an option then it would have been equally as much as a cliffhanger in my book as Season 1 with Clementine being in a field once again and then the credits hit.
With players choices there isn't such thing as canon for this game. I mean main official canon that Telltale chose. Everyone has their own, personal canon, you know? But there is a thing... what if Telltale will chose one of the endings and start with it season 3? I doubt that but... please, let that not be true.
