Lack of an meaningful dialogue choices

I enjoyed the series don't get me wrong. But one thing I noticed was that dialogue choices now don't have the impact they did in S1. There are no longer and choices that end up with a game over. And that's just sad, it makes it as if EVERYONE takes Clem's words as law and she can never say anything that's gonna piss someone off. S1 you had saying stuff to Vernon and Brenda that ended up with Lee shot, giving the dialogue actual weight.

  • It's an illusion of weight.
You literally can't move past the game without a game over in those parts. (I think you can nab Vernon's gun no matter what. Could be wrong.)

So while it gives you the sense to pick your words carefully, it's actually limiting your choices that you can carry through with.

  • The first time i played through Vernon shot Lee because I took too long to grab it.
