The Kenny and Jane I Knew...

edited August 2014 in The Walking Dead

I'm sure many people had positive experiences with Kenny and trusted him implicitly. Many of us did not. Just like some of us had positive impressions of Jane while others did not. All of my experiences informed my choice. I made the choice that was most rational based on my experiences, just as most of us did. I didn't hate Kenny but I also never trusted him because I had too many negative experiences with him. I trusted Jane because my experiences with her were far more positive and I agreed with her most of the time. This idea that Kenny was good and Jane was bad is based on personal choices. My choices led me to the conclusion that Kenny was more of a liability than Jane and that Jane was more mentally stable and trustworthy.

Kenny

  1. Season 1 Episode 2 - I didn't kill Larry Kenny watches my Lee get beaten.
  2. Season 1 Episode 3 - Kenny tries to abandon my Lee at the pharmacy.
  3. Season 1 Episode 4 - Kenny gets hostile when I point out the simple truth that there aren't any boats left.
  4. Season 1 Episode 4 - Kenny stayed with the boat.
  5. Season 1 Episode 5 - Kenny threatened to kill my Lee in the attic (he does this regardless of your standing with him.)
  6. Season 2 Episode 3 - I didn't back up his reckless decision in the truck - he got hostile. The only thing that saved the group from collective punishment was that Kenny got knocked out when the truck stopped.
  7. Season 2 Episode 4 - I killed Sarita and Kenny became increasingly hostile.
  8. Season 2 Episode 4 - In the tent I pointed out that he wasn't the only person to suffer loss (my Clem shot lee) and again he gets hostile.
  9. Season 2Episode 5 - I side with the group that going North is a bad idea - Kenny gets hostile.

Jane

  1. Season 2 Episode 3 - I noticed that people were suspicious of her from the start for no reason other than they thought she was weird. People used to treat me the same way. I sympathized.
  2. Season 2 Episode 3 - Jane told them how to walk past a crowd of walkers and how to get to the radios.
  3. Season 2 Episode 3 - Troy was heavily implied to be a sexual predator (his comments when the girls go off to use the bathroom.) and a sadist. I could imagine very good reasons why Jane would shoot him through his junk.
  4. Season 2 Episode 4 - Jane taught Clem highly useful skills for survival.
  5. Season 2 Episode 5 - Jane kills Vatali to protect Clem.
  6. Season 2 Episode 5 - Jane pulled Clem out of the water and carries her to safety.
  7. Season 2 Episode 5 - I got to know Jane's character at the power station.
  8. Season 2 Episode 5 - Jane chastises Kenny for his cruel treatment of Arvo - something I agreed with.
  9. Season 2 Episode 5 - I agreed with Jane's suggestion to head south.
