Did anyone else find this a bit odd?
In regards to Kenny's past.
Kenny mentions that his Dad was always fixing up cars and trucks, when Kenny was a kid.
And even though Kenny has a talent for mechanics, and is obviously quite good at it, and yet he's a commercial fisherman by trade.
With the skills he has as a mechanic, it would make more sense for Kenny to actually be one, instead of a fisherman.
I found it to be a bit peculiar.
And was just what the rest of y'all thought about it?

Didn't he also say he liked fishing because he was away from his family and had some time alone?
Kenny had a dream and followed it.

My dad is a Mechanic, but he loves drawing.
You can have multiple interests, but pick a job
that revolves around only one of them.
people who work with machinery are usually pretty handy, and fishing uses a lot of machinery, my dad was a carpenter, but he can weld, he builds model boats and planes and he would fix up cars, people aren't their jobs and lots of skills are interchangeable between jobs
Kenny probably just liked fishing more than car fixing. Besides, those mechanic skills would probably come in handy on his boat.
You do know commercial fishing boats have engines right?
