Who do you think will be the new protagonist in season 3?

The 5 ending scenarios imply that Clem's story is done for now. If Telltale couldn't even put effort into determinant characters like Nick after their first death, there is no way in hell they will be able to work with 5 branching storylines.

They could in theory make Clem arrive at the exact destination for all 5 scenarios at the start of season 3. However, that would be extremely shit writing.

Personally I hope Eddie is the new playable character.

    Of course Clementine, without her,does not make sense. The story is not over yet.

    I think it'll be Clem anyways.

    My theory is that Telltales will make a DLC where every different outcomes lead to the same place. And like that, S3 will begin in the same place for everyone :)

    Another season with Clementine implies that she has to deal with loss and suffering again. In my playthrough she is in Wellington, a place that is perfect for 2 children. If even Wellington doesn't suffice I don't see how Clementine can be hopeful again.

    I think it'll be a new character with hints of season 1 and 2 or even cameos from characters.
