Most depressing moments

Here's a nice uplifting topic. Which moments in TWD were the most depressing for you? I'll do my picks for season 2.

My first pick is almost certainly going to be an unexpected choice. I died once in my entire playthrough of season 2, a QTE caught me off guard. I was so saddened to see Clem cry in pain as I watched her get violently bitten in the neck. Of course I knew it was just a case of retry from 20 seconds ago, but it was just so awful to see this character I love and care for suddenly die. Anyone else feel the same about a non-canon occurrence like this?

My second will be when Sarah died. I rescued her once, which was already pretty painful, as she really didn't look like she wanted to keep living. Then she cries in agony as walkers eat her later in the episode :( It was dreadful!

Both picks are about gruesome deaths of children, which I guess goes to show how emphasised my emotions become when I see them in pain. Duck's death really affected me too in season one, though Lee's was the most emotional in that season.

When Doug gets killed because shitbag Ben wouldn't own up to stealing the supplies even though Lee can push him.

  • He definitely should have admitted what he did, but I'm happy he didn't die so early on. Us Bens have to stick together

  • Luke's death.

  • I actually felt the most depressing moment was in S1 after the group gets back from Crawford and Clementine asks if they can look for her parents. No matter what you say, she's heartbroken and cries herself to sleep. I feel just terrible every time.

  • Lee's death (of course), Luke's death and Ben's death

  • Janes death, I mean its so hard to watch your favorite character get stabbed by a knife by your other favorite character </3

  • Ahh man I just remembered that scene.

I hope a revelation comes in season 3 that her parents aren't actually dead. I really do. How can she be so sure that the walkers she saw in S1 E5 were her parents? I don't think Telltale would do that twist, but I'd love to see it.

  • Oh that reminds me of another one. On the train in s1E3 when you get the option to suggest the her parents may be dead and she asks you if you want them to be. Awful. Never chose that option again.

  • Lee and Luke's deaths.

  • Don't think I picked that one. Glad I didn't. I hated making her sad in the first season

It's a very small moment and I pretty much did it to myself, but during the flashback, when Clem tells Lee that she's scared and he asks her what he can tell her to make things better...I had her stay silent.
