Most powerful scene

edited August 2014 in The Walking Dead

For me, the most powerful scene was in season 1 when Lee went straight through those zombies to get to the marsh house, despite knowing he could easily be torn apart. The motivation in his eyes showed saving Clementine would be worth it. My second most powerful scene was Lukes death. He knew from the beginning he was done for, and realised bringing Clem down with him wasn't an option.

  • Yeah that or Kenny's ending where he gives you his hat.

  • Yeah, it's tough to choose, there are so many; Lee's badass scene, Kenny's family in the woods, finding the kid in the attic, leaving Savanna covered in guts, Clementine alone in the forest after the dog bite, meeting Carver in the cabin, being held hostage in the ski lodge, talking to carver in his office, walking through a herd without Lee, not being able to save Sarita, Sarah's death(both of them), feeling betrayed and then getting shot, being alone in the blizzard, Kenny's speech at Wellington ...

I dunno, maybe my standards are too low, but while playing I like to imagine myself as Clementine in these situations(the S2 ones) and many of these 'impending doom' type circumstances remind me of Lee's sacrifice and my not wanting to disappoint him.

  • The music in the background of that scene makes it so bad ass, i get chills every time i watch it. Definitely one of my favorite moments
