The potential character development for Clementine between Season 1 and 2 is actually tremendous
(I originally posted this in the subreddit. It sparked a great conversation, so I thought I'd repost it here)
So playing through the entire series, I actually gained more and more appreciation for Season 2. One of the things I really noticed was the potential evolution of the Clementine characters
Because her character is built off everything that happened to her in Season 1. The potential development is outstanding. It's helped create in my opinion one of the most compelling characters I have ever seen.
From being shocked at a "swear", to telling Jane she is fucking crazy.
From getting a cut on your finger and putting a band aid on it, to getting attacked by a dog and stitching up a giant wound.
From screaming in horror as Kenny drops a cinder block on Larrys head to volunteering to watch Kenny beat Carvers face literally off of his head.
From Lee stealing the supplies, to you stealing from Arvo.
etc...
It's the small parallels like this, that really make me love this series more. I really do hope we continue with Clementine in Season 3 as her character still seems to have so much more life left. The dilemmas of becoming a teenager, going through puberty, becoming a young adult and raising a child.
To be honest this series wouldn't be the same without her character, she is TWD just like Arnold Schwarzenegger is The Terminator.
