Neither Jane or Kenny is a Psychopath
The term 'psychopath' has got to be one of the most misused words in the English language. These are the reasons why neither character can be reasonably considered a psychopath.
- Neither character exhibits 'Superficial charm'.
- Neither character exhibits 'Grandiosity'.
- Neither character lies pathologically.
- Neither character is manipulative - neither of them manipulate deliberately without regard for the damage caused.
- Neither character is without remorse or guilt.
- Neither character is emotionally shallow.
- Neither character lacks empathy.
- Neither character is parasitic.
Nearly half of the list and neither character meets any of them to any significant degree. The only characters that exhibit psychopathic tendencies are Nate and Carver.
