Time to drop her.

I loved being Clementine.Simply loved it.I loved playing as her, changing her, hell, even killing zombies with her.And still care about her, through that screen.I know where Season 3 is going.Clem and the baby(and probably Kenny or Jane. They are going to get killed though.I am sure.) growing up together but also surviving. But I wouldn't like that.I was thinking maybe drop her.Not to play as her.I was thinking like starting off you being a random survivor, with your brother (sister etc..) and then she comes back in the stage. Her being by your side again. Not to be her.According to your season 2 choices she will make her own.Like there will be 3 dialogues for her to choose, responding to each situation as you had built her in season 2.From Sassy Clem,Mean Clem,Badass Clem to Good Clem.I realise that it will take too much effort, but if you were able to do something like that TellTale then...I don't even know.It would be so awesom, cool amazing and etc...

(I don't if theres even going to be a S3,or if TellTale has said anything or even someone has alreadu said that.)

  • I wouldn't like to play as a random survivor.
I think the relationship between the player and clementine is a strong one and many fans would be upset due to not having her as a PC

  • Telltale knows many of the fans would not be happy if clementine would drop.
    They're smart enough to know.

true, I don't want to drop Clem either

  • Nah, Clem. I want Clem.

  • I got too attached to her from Season 1 and 2 to just drop her for Season 3. It's just not gonna happen...

  • sooner or later we have to play as a random survivor if they decide to make new seasons.
Lee was also a random survivor going into S1.

  • There's a difference with Lee though, we didn't just play two season in which it was completely revolved around another character.

  • I wouldn't want to drop her completely but I wouldn't mind not being directly in control of her. I'd love to see a few different versions of her based on our choices from the previous seasons interact with us as a different protagonist. It would add a lot of replay value to the old seasons to get different versions of her in season 3.

  • ''time to drop her'' Just no. Time to drop you! Clementine dies = no more seasons. Clementine not as protagonist = no more seasons. Clementine as the protagonist = continue until season unlimited. If Clem dies or isn't the protagonist, season 1 and 2 won't matter, since they both were about who? CLEMENTINE!!!!! Starting season 3 with an unknown person in day what? Day 1000? Nope, just nope, i wouldn't like that, not even 1%. Telltale won't drop her, since we all love and care about her.

  • Exactly my thought.
