Do you consider 2nd play-throughs to be more official than the 1st?

Hey guys - was just wondering how many people have the same play-throughs as me:
First Playthrough: First time playing TWD episodes, I dont change any options.
Perfect Playthrough: Second time playing TWD episodes, my preferred choices.

If you do, do you consider one to be more "official" to yourself than the other? Like, do you consider the first playthrough the REAL story or do you simply not care?

Personally I consider my first play-through the "official" one for me (I dont change the options once I've completed it), which upsets me a little because I chose Jane over Kenny which I sort of regret having replayed it and preferred the other ending, but there you go! Just wanting to get your ideas!

  • I never replayed any TellTale game. Well once when I played Wolf because I clicked the wrong option and I didnt want to do that at all lol. But I feel like for a TellTale game your first playthrough is the "true" playthrough

i don't know how you get prefered choices on your second try, you haven't tried alternate ones yet so how can they be preferred?

but i do usually do multiple playthroughs, my second is sort of opposite but not completely, its more of an opposite attitude, that for me still works in a consistent way, an example of when i didn't do the exact opposite is leaving sarah at the trailer park (i didn't either time), i was never full selfish even though my second playthrough is usually a bit of a tougher/cold attitude.

and if i do replay more times my third savefile is like my directors cut, where i know everything that can happen and i choose the best options, but that save file is kinda junk to me, my original save is the official and best one

  • What I do in my first playthrough I stick with it, In my 2nd I do opposite choices

  • FIrst playthrough is the one where the decisions I make are the ones that I would actually make in that situation. Other playthroughs I tend to do the same thing but pick different major decisions to just see how the story changes.

  • I don't think so. The first playthrough can usually reflect more about the subconsciousness. Unless you get these 4 playthroughs as I do: 1st, be a saint one. 2nd, be a badass one. 3rd, be silent all the way. 4rt, pick options hasn't be picked...

  • No, because i know all the surprises and i don't feel like i make real choices that I would've if I was on the spot.
