Jane is a very skilled survivor, yes, but I do not agree with her way of thinking. Luke on the other hand, he has a nice balance between maintaining one's humanity and survival. Plus, I like and trust him a lot more than I do Jane.
Luke. Hands down. Every time.

He's so sweet and nice, he has a level head and has kept his humanity. Out of everyone in this season I would pick Luke to look after Clementine (even if she doesn't need anyone looking after her) he is a good role-model for her (not including his 'moment' with Jane but, he seemed like he regretted it after) also they had this cute little brother/sister relationship I adore so much
They dropped it since season 1 episode 4, Molly climbing a bridge with her icepick, Molly kicking Kenny's ass and Lee's, Vernon beating up Kenny, Clementine picking up Lee and dragging him through to store, Lee not dying from blood loss, etc.
depends on the situation, if luke was trying to murder jane (that would totally be out of character), i would shoot him. its not about what character i like best its about my moral principles. i liked kenny more than jane, but i still shot him.
Luke, cause I've known Jane for what, a day? And in that span of time, she manages to leave... Even though she comes back and saves us, doesn't mean I want to save her life over Luke.
I trust Luke, and it's obvious, he trusts Clem. He seems like he would do anything for Clem, even risked his life, ultimately ending in his death, if you go to save him in the water... So yeah, Luke...
Luke! Jane thinks everyone's a liability and should be abandoned. I can't bring myself to think that way unless they become a liability DIRECTLY like if they were to directly kill someone or try to kill someone or used my morals against me and put themselves in a bad position just to try to get me on their side. Luke seems to be the only one with any humanity left. Maybe it's too much like with Carver, but hell he's survived this long with it intact maybe he knows secrets.
I'd be more inclined to save Luke over Jane from drowning. The reason being is, is because Luke is more of a moralist, whereas, Jane is more of a survivalist, wherefore his ideology fits in with my Clementine better than her's, for he is compassionate and kind-hearted, he's also caring and protective to his friends (who of which he possibly considers to be family, Nick in particular); and to the contrary, she is an aloof and unsocial (at least at first), who prefers to stick to herself. Luke in comparison to Jane, is much more trustworthy, therefore he receives my devotion before she receives it, due to the reliability. Ideally, I'd preferably be in desire of saving both of them from drowning, but when it comes down to it, placed in a position where I'm forced to choose to save one or the other, my loyalty lies with Luke.
I think this 'contest' (can we even call it that?) would be a little more balanced if we took into consideration that Luke would most likely ask you to help Jane first.
I'd still go with Luke, though.
These are my priorities for who to save first in these cases:
1)Clementine
2)Lee
3)Tie between Christa and Luke (now this one would be really hard for me)

Luke. Always Luke.
Luke. Cause Luke doesn't try and kill Kenny and I actually trust and like him.
Luke. Hands down. Every time.

Yeah, I think I would also pick Luke, I liked Jane though...
Save Luke... No question!

Vernon got Lucky
really Lucky
Jane. But it'd be a tough call.
what about her backpack, somehow she always finds it, even though it gets lost along the way. Its like a self returning backpack of doom.
I would save Luke!
Luke.
Fuck Jane.
I'm pretty sure everyone would choose Luke.
I know Luke did
luke: ayyyyyyyyyyyyee
clem: ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyee
luke: ayyyyyyyyyyyye okay no I'm actually dying rn halp
I don't like Luke that much, but I'd choose him. At least I know he's not going to lie to me or manipulate me to get his way.
Though would his moves work on you? he is a regular cassanova, i mean...
No, he's not my type. I also don't like how it seems he played Bonnie for a bit, and then moved on to the next pretty girl to come around. :P
...More like the only other girl to come around...
Guess again.
Luke everytime.

He's not a bad guy, but he obviously thinks with his dick a lot..not my kind of guy.
Lol, that's why he's reckless.
Neither
lol true
Good choice...

Absolutely Luke!
Luke.
I hate Jane.
Luke. No contest.

Which is why he had to die
We should have seen it coming. They knew the vast majority of us would have picked Luke in the end choice.
Luke hands down. No doubt about it.
Jane is okay but I like almost everyone in the season 2 (who's been in the group) over her. Especially Luke who's my fav!
Is that even a question? Of course Luke.
Jane because she will teach Clem how to do it with Gill, just like jane did with luke.
Luke, no doubt.
wtf
Jane might be the 'Suvivalist' out of the whole cast of Season 2 but i would save Luke, the guy that barely uses his machete

Well, you can't say he thinks with his dick A LOT, considering he only did it once.
