Clementine/Bonnie and Kenny/Carver parallel
Clem knows Kenny from a long time, and when people consider what Lee went through with him and kinda mix both Lee and Clem´s perspectives, some people see Kenny as the most trustworthy and valuable friend, and that´s why a lot of these people are in denial with how evil, dominant and violent Kenny is becoming. Since S1 Kenny´s mental state got worse and worse, and at S2E5 he is very insane, and while he is not at Carver´s level yet, he is pretty much hopeless and possibly losing his mind eventually. Some people feel like sticking with him, whether being simply loyalty for a friend or also having hope for him to turn the tables and become sane again, while others, that never liked him or feel like giving up on him, choose to kill/leave him.
Bonnie, at S2E3, feels in the same kind of denial about Carver, often trying to justify his actions but ends only giving poor excuses. She says that "Bill wasn´t always like that", so even though he is a lot evil now, he likely did a lot for Bonnie in the past so she wants to believe that he is still doing things for the greater good. However, she eventually gave up on him and did what was morally right and helped the group that she herself captured. Bonnie tries too hard to conciliate morality with survivability, and that´s why she regret and apologizes for a lot of things that she does. "I´m not defending what he did, that was... i´m alive because of him, that´s just a fact", that line express perfectly this inner conflict, since her morality knows what he does is wrong, but her survivability is directly related to be loyal to Carver so she can stay at his camp, also that conflict explains why she constantly shift sides and is hypocrite sometimes.
That being said, when Bonnie heard about Reggie´s murder and, above all, saw Kenny´s beating, she decided to gave up on Carver. Clem is in the same postion of Bonnie seeing Carver beating Kenny when she sees Kenny trying to kill Jane, so the player decide to give up on Kenny or not after seeing what he is capable of.
So do you guys agree?

It's not a coincidence that Bonnie is the one who keeps telling you to calm down Kenny. Remember how she tries to defend Carver as an overstressed man who she owes her life to?
Most players feel that way about Kenny.
