How many Seasons will The Walking Dead game have?

  • Most likely 3, fourth would be the last if it came.

  • I think 5 seasons. Most importantly, TellTale not done out of the game heartless, stupid, money conveyor, as happened with the Heroes and Call of Duty

3-? Seems more accurate, TWDG certainly has the potential to continue for a long time and Clementine's story alone could span over 4 seasons, it seems pretty likely then that as long as people will be interested and will keep buying it that TWDG will continue.

    3 - 5

  • I'll be surprised if it goes beyond 3 seasons.

  • Why is that? It's there best selling game right now if I'm not mistaken, I'd be surprised if it DIDN'T go past 3 seasons.

  • we know, but it would be really hard to deliver a story at that level, for 3 more seasons.

  • Every good story needs an ending or else it'll just get stale. I'm kinda hoping that season 3 will be the last, but if not I'm sure Telltale still has trick or two up their sleeve.

  • Źle? Z czym? xD

  • I'm thinking 5 is a good number.

  • Doesn't matter now.

They already screwed it up. lol

  • Between 3 and 73 I think.

  • Probably 10.

  • TWDG certainly has the potential to continue for a long time

EHHHH I dunno about that. Telltale doesn't tend to go on with series for that long. They tend to do things in threes. I can imagine them getting up to about 5, but they like to bounce around with their subject matter a lot.

  • Well, it all depends on how much people like it, if they lose interest in it, then they will probably end it with season 3, if people love season 3, (i don't know what will happen at the end of it for Clem), then TT has a decent chance of continuing the series for a season 4, 5 seasons are unknown to us at this point, but this is one of TT most biggest games ever, and it is all up to them for more seasons.
But keep in mind that TT has other projects, such like Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands, and possibly they could do another The Wolf Among Us game since it left on a cliffhanger choice. So don't leave these out in the wake of discussing more seasons.

  • Agreed, and I hope it has a nice, long run.

Plus, I hope around a low double digits.

  • Don't know if I've already commented on this thread but I would say S3 will likely be the last season (IMO). With the way Telltale is expanding their games I won't be surprised if they stop the game after S3.

  • 8 or 37 seasons...

  • Tbh, TWD show has 6 completed seasons so far, and a seventh, so it doesn't seem TOO unlikely for them to have more seasons, but there is something different about TWD from TTG, it has a unique character not offered in the show, and a unique, excellent narrative for story line. (Lee's death and training Clementine). I've never seen the show or read the comics, (although I have read various plot points of the show and comics, but not enough to say I completely know them). They COULD continue pumping out seasons, but unless if each season doesn't add a significant and unexplored plot point that the other seasons haven't gone through, then it could turn repetitive and empty.

Please don't post in old threads unless you have something new or updated to discuss. Thanks!

(As for my personal opinion on the topic at hand, I'm guessing 3 or 4 sounds like a good number to shoot for. Beyond that, I'd rather Telltale expend their efforts on different franchises that have had less attention from Telltale instead.)
