How clementine could be a part of season three
Okay, here's my idea of how Clementine could be a part of season three.
The game would have to move on two years for this to really work.
Episode one : (Hopefully called Hearth and Home, because that will make it sound warm and fuzzy when it really isn't).
You are a character in Wellington in episode one, probably some sort of guard. I don't know. At some point, you'll get set on a mission of some sort outside of the city. At some point before you leave, if Clementine is in Wellington, you'll run into her. The new protagonist could already be on good terms with Clementine, ask how AJ is doing, etc. Maybe you'll meet Clementine just chilling with a friend of hers, in case Clementine isn't there, you would only talk to the friend (who wouldn't really be a friend, as they wouldn't even know about her).
While you're out, you'll run into some people. If Clementine left with Kenny or was alone, Clementine and the baby will be left with the group. At this point, Wellington doesn't really have a minimum or maximum cap of people, so they'll be invited to come back Clementine will be with them.
To make matters simple, if Clementine doesn't shoot Kenny, or goes alone, then she will be in Wellington at the start.
The Howe's endings are more difficult. But eventually, Wellington will eventually get attacked by another large group. The closest comparison I can think of is Ceaser's legion in fallout new vegas, but it wouldn't be quite as clearly evil, but not very good either. Clementine won't be part of the army if she goes to Howe's, but is part of the group. Jane might be a soldier in the army, or might have been killed fighting, etc. You're job is to infiltrate this group, which will be the main plot of episode 3 or for, possibly 2. Essentially, when you and you're friends have to leave the group, Clementine will come to you with the baby/toddler ask what you're doing, and realize you're escaping. She'll ask to come with you. If you're a heartless asshole and say no, someone else with you (who is also your boss), will say yes, if only for some extra information about how things work.
After Clem reaches Wellington, no matter how it happens, her interactions will be largely the same, with some dialogue changes here and there. (For example, if she started in Wellington, she might say, "I'm glad I have so many friends here.", if she doesn't, she might say, "I'm making so many friends here, thanks for helping us.")
Either way, she will be with the main group in the final episode, if nothing else.

Please no more timeskips, I'm sick of them. I dont care if the comic is now two years ahead again, we miss out so much
Or, Clementine could just be the protagonist in season 3.
