I guess it could work. Although it would be too similar to S2 intro, I think. But I'd still be okay with that instead of changing to a new protagonist. I think a DLC about that could do the trick? For example you play one of the bandits assaulting Wellington (alternatively you can be someone from the inside who forcibly take over control) or Howe's or the place you go with Kenny, that way that part in the introduction wouldn't be necessary in S3.
It wouldnt be that hard. For instance, Wellington/Howes gets attacked by bandits and you escape with AJ. Jane either dies or you get separat… moreed when she stops to lead the bandits away. You (and Kenny if you went with him) get attacked by walkers and you escape with AJ. Kenny either dies or you get separated when he stops to lead the walkers away. In all instances you wander around for X amount of days before stumbling upon an old power-plant. The story progresses normally from there with a few different dialog options depending on your S2 end choice.
I know it would feel a bit like our choices are irrelevant, but its a game and I understand their limitations. And if it means we get Clem back I'll take it.

Do you guys think Robert Kirkman is scared of how popular Clem has become and that she may overshadow all the comic characters?
Some people complained about Clem being the protagonist in season 2,and I hope telltale doesn't listen to their bullshit.
Those who want clem in season 3 far outweigh the ones that don't. I wouldn't worry too much.
