What do you NOT want to see in Season 3

  • They should let us Keep Jane/Kenny as supportive character, who would just give different dialogue options through the game, or even different choices. Would be cool.

    Jane dying.

  • I guess he feels insecure playing as female character.

Why not just put capture the flag mode also and 360 no scopes?

Ah yes an adult white male... Like that hasn't been done before...

  • Clem should definitely be the protagonist in season 3. The story has been about her this whole time, after all; and she's become one of the most interesting characters in gaming history. A new protagonist would be a huge no for me. It wouldn't mean the difference between playing and not playing, but it will definitely mean the difference between waiting for the series to complete and buying episode 1+season pass asap (if Clem is the main character it's buy+season pass).

I don't want Kenny/Jane to die because of their determinant status. I'd much rather they be taken off screen via storytelling.

I don't want a bunch of traditional puzzles a-la the first game and older telltale games. Those pull me out of the game reeeaaaally fast.

    That's about it :)

  • I don't want to see another Nick/Sarah treatment in Season 3 again, especially the latter. And with that opinion in mind, I'm hoping that we're not forced into a 'social Darwinist' attitude while being punished for being merciful and selfless.

  • for me , i hope we get longer episodes , more dialogue and group union/fights like in first game... and yeah i might get hate , but i dont want Clementine as main character again .. serious , i really dont like it.. and maybe show someone from the tv show / book like they did with glenn

  • I'd honestly be okay with them starting a whole new story. What I would not be okay with is them introducing Clem, Kenny, or Jane, but as side characters, or just given a short cameo. If you're going to end their story, then end it.

Making one ending canon would be a massive screw up. I seriously probably wouldn't play Season 3 if they were to do that.

If they did continue Clem's story, what they'd have to do to do it right would be to make 3-5 separate storylines that never reconverge. For example, the two Kenny endings could reconverge fairly quickly in episode one, same with the Jane endings, and the Alone ending is given different dialogue choices depending on how you got there.

Essentially, what that means is making Season Three 15 episodes long, and releasing them 3 at a time, as well as making either Kenny, Jane, or a new character as the deuteragonist for each "set" of episodes i.e, don't have Kenny/Jane be irrelevant or just a supporting character. If they can't be bothered to do that, then just start with new characters, and go back to Clem's story whenever they're able. I think I got a more satisfying ending, so I wouldn't be upset at all if Clem's story just ended, but I'd also like to go back to it, maybe not even with Season 3, a cool idea is that we could have new characters in Season 3, have Season 4 continue Clem's story, and have Clem and Kenny/Jane meet up with the character from Season 3 at some point.

Another point, DO NOT kill off the cast of Season 3 before Season 4. They did this with Season One and Season Two. That's not how it works, you don't just keep two characters, one determinant, alive from the first Season, and only one character, also determinant, from the second. No Telltale, just no.

And, you know, the basic things, longer episodes, general improvements, etc, etc.
