Next Gen Console Version Feature Request

I just read the The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 come to XBOX ONE and PS4 in October. I bought season 2 on my PS3 just so my decisions from season 1 would carry over. I own an XBOX ONE and PS4. I would love to upgrade to a next gen console version of these games. Are there any plans to allow us to import a PS3 game, for example, into the PS4 so our decisions carry over for Season 3? If it's not a feature for next gen season 1 or 2 I REALLY hope it's a feature for Season 3. Blizzard's Diablo III let me import a PS3 game save to my PS4 so I know this sort of thing has been done before.

    I hope they have a "The Making Of" video like they had for the season 1 GOTY edition, so we could see what happened during development.

    Oh nice, I din't know that about Diablo.

    But the question is. If TWD S3 is next gen and current gen, should I buy a next gen console?

    I only have a XBOX 360 which I play it on, and I don't want to put it on steam for 50$ extra, so I would like it if they continued releasing them on the current older consoles.
