(Not a Jane hate thread) Why did Jane make Clementine drive?

Why did she make Clementine drive when the walkers were coming towards them? Couldn't Jane just hand over AJ to Clementine and drive them out of the danger? Was this the part where she made up her plan about leaving AJ in a car to show Clem how Kenny could turn into a monster? Or was it just for the player to have more QTEs?

    Just for the player to have something to do. Kind of like kicking the locked door down when Clementine should be nowhere near strong enough, and flicking a switch to shut off the wind turbine.

    Plot bs? I don't mean that sarcastically either, there was just a lot of this kind of stuff throughout the episode.

    I mean... Why even start up the truck in the first place? The walkers were only stirred up by the gunshots. Starting the truck would directly draw the walkers by the noise. Even if the headlights were on (I don't remember) they could've just turned them off and the walkers would have lost interest. So Jane either overreacts (there weren't that many walkers anyways), wants to be separated from Kenny (if you don't step on the gas Jane will continue yelling to "go" finally saying "we'll pick up Kenny on the way" then the game forces the driving scene), or the writers needed a way to separate everyone and used a fairly silly way of doing it, or a combination of those things.

    She made a bad choice in the heat of the moment. She probably figured that Clem was smart enough to just figure it out, or whatever. Bad call.

    I think she freaks out when walkers are near and she is in a small space like in the mobile home.

    Two reasons: to give the player something to do, and because of where they were sitting.

    Clementine got into the drivers seat after Kenny left to find gas. When Jane noticed all of the walkers, I think she panicked a bit and didn't want to waste time trying to switch seats with Clem. She also had AJ in her hands.

    Because Clementine was in the driver's seat and Jane was taking care of AJ.
