What if Season 2 had a different playable protagonist?

edited September 2014 in The Walking Dead

Given everything that has happened in Season 2 from start to finish, what do you think things would've been like if we were playing as a different protagonist? And I'm not just talking about Lee. I mean if we were to play as someone different. Like, someone new and also had a determinant personality and was Clementine's new guardian, or even as someone we do know. Like, maybe as Christa and she could go through what Clem does, (but then finds her in episode 2). Or maybe even as Kenny, and we pick up from the last moment we saw him in the Season 1 finale and see how he met Sarita and got to the Ski Lodge that Walter and Matthew made their keep at.

Any thoughts on this subject?

  • I like what they did better :)

  • Nice idea, but I prefer Clementine more, there was no other character they developed more emotionally and personally by the end of Season 1. And everyone thought Kenny was dead remember? He was in a room full of walkers or in an alley packed with them! (I got lucky, real lucky)

  • I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much I did.

  • Christa and Kenny already have scripted personalities and it would be uncomfortable to play with them.

  • What if the roles of characters in both Seasons were changed?

What if Jane and Kenny were switched?

What if Sarah and Clementine were switched?

What if Lee and Luke were switched?

What if Lilly and Bonnie were switched?

Would your opinions on a character change depending on what their roles were?
